This is a switch (kind of a like a lamp switch that you use to turn the lamp on/off) for USB devices. It has a USB female connector on one end and a male connector on the other end. It's not complicated, and it works. I use it to turn on/off a wifi router that is powered by a USB cable. Pros - It works as expected! - Ok price - Decent length Cons - Not the most aesthetic This is a very basic USB mechanical on/off switch, it looks low-end but it works great.

Fixes the issue perfectly This solved the problem with the USB port in my 2022 Nissan Frontier staying powered on continuously. It also still allows data to pass through, so everything works as expected. Now I don’t have to keep unplugging my device every time I get out of the truck. Simple fix and highly recommended.

i bought this because I have a KVM switch for the devices on my bedroom desk.. The mouse had a tendency to not be picked up when i switch which machine has my focus.. this allows me to cut power to the mouse which as far as the machines are concerned is as good as disconnecting it, and turn it back on to reconnect.. this is sooo much easier and more convenient then reached to the back of the desk to the KVM to manually remove and replace it.. Solid option would recommend

I have an older Android Auto, requiring a hardline USB cable to connect my phone to the car audio (like a caveman). I purchased a wireless adapter to avoid needing to constanly jam a wire into my phone USB when driving. It works well, but frequently fails to pair fast enough during startup. This requires me to manually disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.....That is until now! This USB cable switch works just like a lightswitch on your USB. It allows data connections, but is super easy to click on and off without having to unplug the USB. I tried other switches, and they did not transmit data, so were worthless. This one works like it should, saving me aggrevation and saving wear and tear on my USB ports.
