I have a small terrier that we rescued and she had a horrible ear infection. After using the antibiotic eardrops to get rid of most of it, we began using this. After a month in total treatments, her ear cleared up perfectly and looked great. We ran out of the cleanser and did not use it as part of her routine. After about three months, her ear infection has come back as she is a susceptible breed. This time we just used this cleaner and it cleared her up again! We have now been sing it bi-weekly and have never seen any infections return. Also, it takes away a lot of foul dog smell. Many people may not realize this, but dogs’ ears actually have an off-putting smell that is fairly strong, particularly when not cleaned. These Zymox drops keep everything in check and in good hygiene! Claim Accuracy: ★★★★★ Zymox ear cleaner has lived up to all it’s claims. Initially our pooch hated this stuff, but now its not much more of a bother than washing her paws. This works great for keeping my pets’ ears clean and comfortable. It’s easy to use, not messy, and doesn’t have an overpowering scent. I’ve noticed less buildup and scratching since using it, and my pets tolerate it pretty well. It’s a solid product for my dog’s regular ear care and I would buy it again. It’s also vet approved.

This stuff is awesome. I have a cocker spaniel who is prone to ear problems all the time. Since I got this i have not had any issues with her ears. And she smells good too! No more stinky ears!

It doesn't so much cure the problem but it declares a ceasefire. You won't see immediate results. You'll hear them. That first, monumental, head shake when nothing is spattering on the nearest bystander brings back a quiet moment of joy. The real beauty is the psychological play. Your dog, who normally views ear touches as a betrayal as dramatic as a Shakespearean tragedy, will trot off after the ordeal with a bewildered look, as if to say, "Huh. The itching symphony has been downgraded to a light tickle. I shall allow it.” This medication is not a substitute for a vet visit. It is just temporary relief. I cannot give it five stars because I expected it to take care of the problem. It just gave symptom relief.

Cleans dogs well, easy to use worth every penny

Easy to use product that helps keep my little guy's ears clean. Nozzle easily fits in the ear, and a good squirt helps loosen and remove all the gunk. Dog absolutely hates it, but that's to be expected.

It’s really good, but quite expensive

I have had several dogs, including two golden retrievers. I discovered this ear cleaner with my most recent golden, but suffice to say I have used a lot of dog ear cleaners in my lifetime. My golden has allergies and I found this cleaner recommended by other dog owners with allergies that lead to chronic ear infections. After clearing her final ear infection, I have been using only this cleaner for the past 7 years and she has never had another ear infection in all those years. I use it approximately every two weeks, or once a week in the summer. I pour it over soft cotton pads (makeup remover pads) and swipe and thoroughly clean, and occasionally I will 'flood' the ears by squirting a bit directly into the ear and massaging at the base, and letting her shake it out, and finishing with the cotton pad. I like this cleaner because it's a clear liquid and has no scent and leaves no noticeable 'residue' in the ear. It also doesn't leave the fur around the ears greasy or gluey. It cleans very, very well. Like I said, my dog hasn't had an ear infection in 7 years while using this as a maintenance cleaner. I noticed a few reviews saying it made their dog's ears worse. Please note, that this is not an antibiotic. If your dog has an actual ear infection (redness, red spots, heavy gunk, pain, shaking/hanging head), you need to get proper antibiotics from your vet first. Then use this ear cleaner (on a regimen) after the infection is cleared up to prevent any further infections. It's especially important for floppy-eared breeds that are often prone to ear issues. Anyway, I won't use any other brand. Zymox is great. I also use their allergy shampoos/conditioners on my dog and am similarly impressed with the quality of the brand.

I use this for the occasional ear cleaning for my cat. She doesn't mind it at all, and it does a good job at cleaning out her excess wax buildup.

Not a bad product for minor ear issues. Smells kind of stinky. Dogs are not a fan but our pugs never like us doing any kind of grooming. Weird little goblin dogs. But yeah, decent ear cleaner.
