SD slot - the card goes label down. XQD slot - the card goes label up.
The XQD card goes in label up (so it faces you), but the SD card goes in the opposite way... label down (facing away from you). I was putting both cards (XQD & SD) into the reader with the label up (labels facing me) and the XQD card went in fine but the SD card would not go into it's slot. I didn't want to force it in so I showed it to my husband. He looked into the reader slot and saw that the pins went upward in the SD slot so he flipped the SD card over (label down) & it then went into the slot with no problem. He said the manufacturer mounted both memory card connectors on opposite sides of the same PCB so one is upside down. Thought I would mention it so others don't run into the same problem and think, like I did, that they got the wrong item. The reader works fine, it uploaded photos from both memory cards to the computer easily.

Don’t buy it!
Only used it once or twice since I first got it. Due to how slow it was I ended up just using my old one that I’d bought from precision camera. It overheats the xqd cards and refuses to read the xqd cards when inserted. It’ll read SD cards and transfer files sometimes but it takes 30 minutes to transfer files that should take max 2-3 minutes to transfer. Definitely do not recommend! Wish I’d gone back and read the reviews sooner so I could have returned the product.

It's an adapter. Works great!
The adapter works great. I can quickly download my pictures to my computer hard drive from my XQD card. It also has a spot for an SD card. The download speeds are super fast. It works with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 computer ports. The cable is a little short so if using a desktop the cable will hang from the USB port. But ultimately it makes downloading pictures much easier.

XQD Card Reader
card reader is working well with sony XQD memory card. Card fits the slot well. I have noticed that if I leave the adapter/card plugged in the computer for extended period of time it gets hot.

Works as advertised
Not much to say but. It did what its supposed to do, is well made and i would buy agian if needed.

Not compatible with Mac
Was not compatible with my macbook. Maybe it was a user error, but I can't seem to get it to show up anywhere! I've googled and googled.

Did not work
This item worked once and once only. On plugging the device into my computer to download files from my camera a second time, an error message appeared stating the device was not recognised. Tried it on a different computer but with the same error message Returned for a refund. Avoid, if reliability is important to you.

Great XQD card reader at a great price
The xqd card reader is excellent in uploading and downloading hi definition big files from my computer to an external hard drive. It never slows the computer down and works with amazingly fast results. Very pleased with the purchase.

安いがやはり中華製ですね。
usb差し込み口 と カードリーダー本体 をつなぐコードなのですが、少しねじれた形でつながっており、 見た目が不細工になっています。（USB と カードリーダーが同一面にはならない） 日本人ならこのような接合仕事はしないですね。 使えないわけではないのでこのまま使いますが、繊細さが足らない国だと思いました。
