The Ravenar Sagas: Three Viking Adventures for Cthulhu Dark Ages (A Cthulhu Dark Ages monograph #0348) [Oscar Rios, Oscar Rios] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Ravenar Sagas: Three Viking Adventures for Cthulhu Dark Ages (A Cthulhu Dark Ages monograph #0348) Review: A very interesting ongoing campaign in 3 parts where the characters "grow" gaining fame, money and power (and not just objects) during the 3 adventures which span across a decade. Characters start as young adventurers becoming thanes and jarls with family, slaves and soldiers. As the characters become more powerful so does the level of dangers and political impact of the quests. The adventures are linked only by the background and not by a theme, so don't expect a common enemy or monster. The adventures are very good, they got a hack-slash feel compared to the typical 1920 and there isn't a lot to investigate, just talk to PNG and fight but they are funny and well-written. Maps are clear and do their job. There are some bad layouts in the premade characters sheets, but they are totaly awesome. Every character get a solid background, list of equipment for all the adventures and main skills. Strongly suggested, expecially to those that love the Vikings TV series
