Very creamy nutty taste. Excellent.

This is the best oatmeal. I absolutely love the texture and the heartyness of this. I eat a double serving every morning, without any sweetener, as these oats are naturally sweet to me, I'm good all day. This is great for diabetics, as the carbohydrates are absorbed slowly. I love it, I've tried other brands, but Flahavan's is the best.

Never buying any other oats again. Flavor and texture are delicious. I do NOT like oatmeal as a texture person and found these to be worth the cook time and money because of the slightly nutty and sweet flavor, along with the "I am chewing" on something texture. Others are slimy. And the tins make great gift tins with a little flair added for those that "Upcycle".

That's a bold statement, and I make it as one who loves oatmeal. It's a great breakfast, but if you are checking out steel-cut varieties like Flahavan, you probably already disdain the quick cooking, overly processed, highly sugared brands. If that is your jam, I am not judging, but for me, real oatmeal is the least processed. These take longer to prepare, either soaking overnight to shorten cooking time in the morning or cooking directly from the container. Of the steel-cut, slower cooking varieties, Flahavan's is worth the time. Cook it longer and it becomes creamier, while shorten the time and it's chewier but still so smooth on the tongue. You could eat it all by itself to have a satisfying, full-mouth feel. It is a soothing comfort food. While all brands of steel-cut oatmeal provide a base in which to mix in butter, milk and various flavors, Flahavan's tastes good just by itself. When it comes to oatmeal, bland is beautiful but Flahavan's stands out with a nutty but not intrusive taste.

Best oatmeal ever!! I don't have to worry about the glyphosates because the oats are not grown in this country. I love food from Europe. it is so much cleaner and healthier.

I love this oatmeal. Takes a little time to cook so I’ll make a batch and reheat it in the morning It is superior in taste than other steel cut oatmeal. It’s nutty and I love the canister. It’s a little expensive but worthwhile. I’ll never eat that instant mush again

There is something special about the texture and flavor of Flahavan's that I prefer over any other brand. It is not available in any retail stores, so the only place I buy it is on Amazon. $15 for a can of oatmeal is an extravagance, but I go for it anyway. Over the past few years, I have purchased over 60 cans from Amazon. The two cans that arrived today were very well packaged, nonetheless, both cans were dented. It is not unusual for me to get a dented can every so often, but to get two in the same shipment reflects poorly on humans who cannot handle a simple task such a packing a few cans. I am sure the matter will be resolved with increasing robotics.
