Great for classroom learning
I seem to have bought these for a different purpose than anyone else, so I will review them. These are high quality cardstock with a slight sheen as others have stated. I laminated them and added a coin magnet to the back of each one to make a classroom review activity for my high school students. Students write on them with dry erase markers and they wipe clean after we are finished. I did not try having students use dry erase markers without the lamination. I wanted durability for the long run. These are a great size and a great value for the price. I highly recommend.

love!
I really like these and will have a hard time dreaming up uses for all of them the set is so large. I've used sharpies, acrylic paint and paint pens on them with great results. Some other pens smudge, but there are plenty of cards to make a test card before you start your project. The thickness is great.

Perfect for Board Game Designers
I have bought from them a few times and I was satisfied 100% with each purchase. They package with care and their materials are very good. Their products brought joy to our family as we play our custom-made board games.

Good, but not perfect, for my project
I only need one side for my project, and I thought I'd use one of my custom stamps, using archival ink, to adorn the other side. I lightly coated the stamp with the stamp pad ink and pressed it to the card, where it left a clear and perfect imprint that under normal circumstances would have been dry immediately. The stamp pad ink did not dry on its own after 3 hours, so I used blotting paper. It took 3 sheets of blotting paper to bring it to a near dry condition and another hour to finally dry. I left it overnight to 'set' and the next morning - it was dry. Yes, it was. But - it smeared with the least pressure. I knew it would rub into an indecipherable mess with even light usage, so rubber stamping using archival ink pads was out. On the happy side: gel pens work well - the narrower the nib, the better. Sharpie markers work well on these cards, too. Pencil holds a nice clear mark that doesn't smear. Felt-tipped pens that are not Sharpies work but need a minute to dry, then don't smear. I tried alcohol-based markers, water-based markers, pigment markers, and oil-based metallic markers. Those all worked with varying amounts of drying time needed. None of them required blotting paper to speed the drying and none smeared after drying. I really liked the metallic oil-based markers and will use them for making borders and maybe even a few highlights in the project images on the cards. The Chinese calligraphy brush and ink pens worked, too, but required care and drying - but as I am a poor calligrapher of that type of brush and ink, it makes no difference to my project. Fountain pens - it depended on the type of ink and the nib - the finer nibs that laid down the least ink did best. broad-nibbed pens left a lot of ink that needed careful blotting. Cartridge inks dried a bit better and faster than bottle inks, so just have plenty of blotting paper to hand and you should be good. Rollerball pens sort of work but the ink skips badly and it takes a minute to dry so you have to be careful of smears and you have to carefully go over what you already did in order to fill in the skips. Ballpoint pens don't work at all - they don't leave ink, not even the skipping that rollerball pens left. I did not test glitter pens. I do not like glitter pens. Me, I am going to lightly mark the cards with pencil (it erases well with a kneadable eraser that leaves no eraser dust behind), then add permanent marking with a 0.38 or finer gel pen, and use the oil-based metallic pens for embellishment.

Excellent As Always from Apostrophe!
Packaged with care! These hexagonal cards are shrink-wrapped in individual stacks, and each stack is then placed between sturdy cardboard and shrink-wrapped again. As always, Apostrophe is a company that not only creates excellent products but also pays attention to the details of the customer's entire product experience. Not surprising, then, that the cards themselves are perfect.

Perfect Size
Just the right size - similar to a deck of cards.

Slick
Great size for drawing Zentangle art. Description read matte finish but they are slick like plastic coated cards so ink smears easily.

Not as thick as I hoped for. OK but may be a bit flimsy for some.
