I always used regular toothpaste. Toothpaste is toothpaste. Then one day the Tea Tree Oil toothpaste showed up. I thought, 'What has my wife bought now?' thinking it was a totally unnecessary purchase. But she was very health conscious, and it was common to see new things appear. So, I tried the Tea Tree Oil toothpaste. It was different from anything I had used before. It was fresh (and yes, minty, sort of). I was surprisingly impressed. It felt clean. When I reverted to my old regular toothpaste, the old toothpaste tasted sugary much less satisfying than the Tea Tree Oil toothpaste my wife continued to use. Although the cost of Tea Tree was higher, I fell it was well worth the extra cost when I considered the results. It does leave your mouth and teeth feeling clean. I tend to be thrifty, but when it comes to Tea Tree Oil toothpaste, I will loosen the purse strings. I highly recommend it. It is the only toothpaste I will use. It contains all natural ingredients., reflecting a quality product. I suggest getting one tube to try it out for yourself and make your own assessment. Then, like me, you can stand at the bathroom counter looking at the empty tube and decide if its value is worth the money. Believe me, I stood there for a while, but now, it's a no-brainer. It's a quality purchase.

I used to get terrible canker sores, and I tried everything that I could buy. At some point, years ago, I read that Tea Tree oil can kill the virus that causes the sores. I started using this toothpaste because it contains that oil. I don't get the sores anymore. I've told friends about the toothpaste, and they've enjoyed the same benefit. Tea Tree oil may just be a placebo, but I'll take it.

I like it. Cleans well and has a pleasant taste. No weird chemicals which is the main reason I buy it.

I got the short end of the stick when it came to dental health genetics. I'm 28 years old & I've had THREE root canals in the last 5 years. Believe me, it is not for lack of personal hygiene! I've been brushing 3 times per day, flossing twice per day & using Listerine Total Care w/ fluoride (in addition to PerioGuard, a Rx mouthwash) for years! However, I've still continuously needed scaling procedures at my (now)quarterly cleanings. I've also had antibiotic powders injected into the pockets of my gums that pre-periodontal disease has provided. How did I stumble upon this product? Well, recently I've read up on raw vegan diets, & have always appreciated 'natural' or 'holistic' remedies for different ailments, where I discovered this alternative product! It just never felt right to me that they always wanted to push more pharmaceuticals into my mouth. There are, after all, people living in third world countries that have never even brushed their teeth that have mouths in better condition than mine. I know this product is not completely 'natural' & may not be up to the standards of the purest of granolas. Yes, there are some chemical ingredients. In my opinion, this is besides the point because I needed a SOLUTION! I've put a lot of hours into caring for my teeth & it wasn't getting me anywhere. I've been thoroughly frustrated that every "new" tube of toothpaste, cleaning gadget, high tech dental floss and Rx mouthwash was one more dead end. Thank goodness I found this toothpaste!! I used it for 1 month before my next cleaning/pre-periodontal maintenance exam. I stopped using my water pik, but continued to floss twice daily. I also began using the fluoride mouthwash only at night (hoping to be able to maintain my teeth & gums like a normal person). Well, my appointment was yesterday, and I'm very happy to announce that IT WORKED!! I didn't require any scaling, I had MUCH less staining than usual, there were no 5mm pockets, no redness, no bleeding, no need for antibiotic powders, no painful sub-gingival scaling or prescription mouthwashes!! And best of all NO out-of-pocket expenses that my insurance won't cover! HOORAY!! I brought the tube with me to show the hygienist, she said she's recommended Tea Tree Oil for patients in the past & saw about 50% with positive results. It's worth the $$ to see if it will work for you. Give it a shot!

I wanted an all natural toothpaste that didn't have fluoride in it because the recent study's shown it lowers IQ and causes cancer. Not only that, many countries already reject the use of fluoride. I used this today and it does certainly get the job done. My breath smells like well, nothing. There is no taste while you're brushing, I have the mint flavored toothpaste so I'm not sure how the others are yet. Overall I will be buying this again since it's completely natural. Update: After two weeks of using this toothpaste my gums have become sore. I'm going to switch to regular toothpaste and see if it helps it, if so then I know I cannot use this toothpaste.

Love this toothpaste!

My family recently switched to all natural body and health care whenever possible. My dentist noticed that I had flecks of plastic embedded in my gums from using Crest toothpaste and suggested I try something natural. I did a lot of research into ingredients and this was one of the only toothpastes that does not have a bunch of chemicals in it. There were "natural" ones that had chemicals like Tom's and every one I found at my local store. I had good luck with Desert essence before with lotions and other products, so when I found it on amazon I decided to give it a go. The ingredient list was very similar to what I use when I make my own. The toothpaste is exactly what I needed. You use a lot less than traditional toothpaste because it foams up pretty well. I would say half the amount of regular at least. The taste is something I like personally and the smell is pleasant. Over all I like the toothpaste and this 3 pack lasts about 6 months for my family (including all of my kids using it) and my dentist has even commented about how much better my gums and teeth look.
