It is basically like a body mist/spray. I mean dont count on it keeping away the body smell by itself. Granted it may work better if I would shave my underarms. It goes on strong and fades to my sense of smell. However others seem to be able to pick up on the citrus aroma. I wouldn't label the smell as too masculine or too feminine. I mean AGAIN- yes(!) it will go on strong but the smell fades like any scent would. I combine this w a natural stick of deodorant and it works well together.
