Better than expected!
What a great little book. It is so much fun to scribble in it. I had to get one for myself and for my cousin because my daughter loved theirs so much. It's perfect for those who feel like they aren't good at drawing or art. Good, no pressure drawing. Confidence builder!

Nice big landscape style sideways book that lays flat so you can practice next to it. I like it.

If I could give it 10 stars I would!
Absolutely FABULOUS! The book comes with 2 artist pencils and an artist’s pen and those alone are worth the price! They are DELICIOUS to use. I only wish I knew which companies produced these tools. I’d buy 2 in every color. Now to the book, 😁 crazy fun! You follow instructions and do your own thing at the same time. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this wonderfully inspiring and creative book. By the way, when instructed to, spit on your finger and smear the pencil marks, do exactly that. Using water from a dish does NOT produce the same results. Only your spit brings out the magic of a perfect smudge/smear. Trust me. Highly recommend this fun book for all ages.

This book is really fun!
The drawing exercises in this book are brilliantly designed to encourage you to use your imagination. It uses familiar everyday objects to practice drawing in different and fun ways. It comes with a black fine liner that glides across the page and two water color pencils. I'm only about halfway through and still having fun.

what art books should be like!!

I just couldn't get enthusiastic about the exercises, although the book is well made and I can understand that others may love the exercises and be inspired by them. I used to draw a lot more in earlier years, so maybe I was past this stage? I hoped to go back to drawing and to learn to draw better with this book. Sadly, for me it didn't work, but it may not be the fault of the book.
