Way less bulky than most and almost perfect
All the devices I have are rated for 100 - 240v so I only need something to convert the pins (Dell laptop, Canon camera, and Samsung Phone). I didn't need one of those monsterous blocks that reduce the voltage while obstructing at least one additional outlet on a powerstrip ... not good for conference rooms where outlets are usually limited. Buyers should know this has (1) grounded outlet and (1) un-grounded/2-prong connections. The little square charger that came with my Samsung Galaxy S2 fits perfectly on the 2-prong side. Cons: - As another reviewer noted, every outlet I have seen in Israel has a circle on the wall plate and the plug is slightly recessed (between 1/8 - 1/4"). This plug is a square shape that is larger than the circle so it ends up at an angle and not fully plugged in. However, it has stayed securely connected and has not caused any problems. The larger/bulky models typically sit further away from the outlet so this isn't a problem. - The 2-prong outlet on the side is on the small side and I can see how some plugs may not fit (has not been a problem for me) My only regret is not buying a 2nd before this trip so I could charge all my gadgets at the same time.

Best adapter we've used.
Wife reported this adapter worked like a champ on her trip to Israel. Worked with her hair straightener and our battery pack that charges our phones. Probably the cheapest priced adapter we have purchased and yet out performed anything else we have used. Others in her travel group had issues with their adapters related to hair dryers (like we had problems with ours in the past, each trip = new adapter). Best part is, it is still functioning and ready for the next trip.

Worked well on my trip to Israel
I recently went on a trip to Israel, and this adapter worked very well. The two ports proved useful, as I was able to charge my camera and iPad simultaneously a few times. The adapter worked at every hotel I went to. Pros: *2 charging ports work well *Affordable price *Convenient travel size Cons: *Although it was a small issue, it's worth noting that there were a couple wall outlets where the adapter would fall out and not stay in. Overall a good purchase and I'd happily recommend it. The price and convenience make this adapter very suitable for a short trip/vacation.

Works but has issues.
This adapter works but has two issues: 1. Modern Israeli sockets have a round recesses and the plug is expected to fit in. This adapter has a large squarish face that does not fit the recess. As a result, you cannot plug it all the way in which results in an unstable connection. 2. The adapter accepts two devices but if you use for example cell phone adapters, you can use only one because one blocks the other. Otherwise it is a good product for a good price.

Worked but a Cautionary Note
Here's what I wrote to the vendor when they asked: In answer to your inquiry, My daughter came back from israel and said that the adapter successfully ran her hair dryer, curler etc. etc. every day without fail. However, the blower on the dryer ran at what seemed like double speed, and was extremely hot, and burned her shoulder one morning, but it has since healed and she is fine now. Also, the coils on one of her appliance glowed bright red, something it does not do when run here in the States. Thought you ought to know about this. Perhaps you might wish to modify the design in some way to "step down" the current? Sincere best wishes ---------------------------------------- Here's what they replied: Thank you for your reply and feedback. These adapters are just plug types that convert any plug to Type H plug thats use in Israel. These do not convert voltage. You may use them in conjunction with a voltage converter or use them with products that are compatible with 110-220V. Regards, Fuzel

Worked perfectly in Israel
This was just the right adapter for a trip to Israel. The multiple US-style outlets were handy for our chargers and a CPAP machine. The equipment was all capable of operating on 220V, 50hz power. I bought one for me and one for spouse but found we needed only a single unit. Available power outlets in our lodgings were limited. Generally only a single outlet was available, but as they are not terribly expensive or heavy, having two with us overcame the anxiety associated with losing one. I take a couple of household extension cords for flexibility in locating the CPAP machine, the combination of this adapter and the extension cords provided for all our needs.

Square plug, round hole
I bought this product 2 years ago, but only tried to use it recently on a trip to Israel. My wife made a trip last year and complained that it kept falling out of the wall plug. I saw why for myself on this recent trip. The plastic part where the prongs protrude is square, but the Israel wall receptacles have a shallow round circle around them that prevents the plug from fully engaging. It sort of works if you use it very carefully, but it does fall out of the receptacle sometimes. I noticed that the current pic on Amazon shows a ROUND configuration on the prong side, but that is not what I received two years ago. Maybe you will have better luck and get the right unit. For me, I'll just use the simple 2-prong adapter. They tend to fall out of the wall plug too if you use something a little heavy like a 4-place USB adapter, but at least you won't have paid so much for something that does not work as advertised.

Worked perfectly.
I ordered 2 of these for a recent trip to Israel, and they could not have worked better. While it is true that Israel has a circular indentation around its outlets, that did not pose a problem at all. In addition, the fact that this outlet has two ports on it meant that I could charge all of my electronics in one go, which was really nice. I saw a lot of other adapters, and mine was by far the smallest, lightest and most convenient. I could easily just throw this in my backpack and be prepared for anything. Definitely worth it. Especially for this price!

Solid, secure fit.
Very good. Worked significantly better than alternative adapters I had on hand. Main benefit is that the unit is well made, with a comforting secure fit. I'll definitely buy another.
