I installed back to the motor , I used 4 gauge ,The boat came with 6 gauge, which is really too small. This is tinned copper wire, which is what you want from marine use. It was very flexible. If I could give one tip, I would say order a little more than what you think you need. Also, if you’re using it for a boat use copper tinned terminals to crimp to this. Review: quality - 1 of the highest quality marine wire you will get.
