Did absolutely nothing
The adapter felt a bit too lightweight and it didn't do anything. I have a zbook g3 and a usb c dock g5 and needed an adapter to be able to power the laptop from the dock rather than thru the charger. Nothing worked with/without additional cables and all combinations I could think of.

Pointless product does not provide Power unless the laptop is in sleep or doing nothing mode!!
Purchased this for an HP ZBook. I was directed to this product after purchasing an HP Dock that did not have a power supply even though it was £200. I sent it back, and questioned if it was suitable, HP said it did, but after looking at the small writing on the back of the unit it only provides 50W of power which is much less then the laptop requires.
