These work great. Been using them for a few years. They have held up great. They connect to my NVR super easily. And they work great with our new NVR which is a UNV. Very good quality also. Definitely recommend.

I've got a number of Anpviz cam's now (all Dome and all POE). They've been good and reliable and I expect nothing less from this one. I mounted this guy up high on my eves (not so fun) and connected it to Blue Iris like all the other ones. It uses the ONVIF protocol in this case. Picture seems good, easy to install and i REALLY REALLY iike the little LINK LED on the camera (where the cable plugs in to your Ethernet). This is extremely helpful... I don't remember seeing that on the other ones I have so maybe it is new or maybe I just missed it but it is SUPER helpful to know you have a connection before you put in the final mounting screws... especially if you are up high on a ladder. One last thing, night vision on this camera seems good but I never expect great night vision on a dome camera except for areas close to the camera. In my case I am looking over the whole back yard and these illuminators wont cover that distance so I will have to get an external illuminator if I need one... probably wont do that though... we'll see.

Recommend it like it,when making cameras adjustments open 3 screws on the camera Dome lens and then you can adjust up or down left or right and then put the plastic dome cover back on

The Anpviz 4MP Dome Camera was very easy to setup and get going. Included in the box was the camera, mounting screws, weatherproof cable shroud, camera warning sticker, and instructions. Instructions were clear and easy to use, nothing confusing. If you have ever used a network device, this is a simple device. The camera uses DHCP by default and my NVR ( ExacqVision Pro) found it with no problems. Because my system is older, I was forced to use ONVIF and H.264 and it works without any problems. If your recording solution can use H.265+ you should take advantage of it. This camera also has motion detection settings to further limit recording space needs. The web page camera configuration was easy to use and understand. There are several settings for image adjustment, network changes, user management and so forth. Camera is light weight, but seems to be built very sturdy. Die-cast aluminium body and dome cover. The images attached are using the default camera image settings, with exception of minor adjustments to the focus on the lens. Accessories, Porch night, Porch Day, and picture of camera mount location and adjustment focus ring. Wide dynamic range does almost nothing, but I’m hoping for an updated camera firmware to resolve this. The lens can be adjusted but you need to know what you are doing, and I have prior experience with such things. It was a very minor adjustment for the focal range I wanted. The IR illumination is more than adequate for this particular shot, and it does illuminate quite the distance. POE power was near instant and really makes this camera worth every penny. For the price range this camera is a valuable solution for home and small business use. Purchase date was 6/18/2022 - $42.99 This is a great deal.

So I have purchased 6 of these cameras over the past several years. The first few were the IPC-D230W, which I believe was replaced by the current model the IPC-D240W-S. I love the level of configuration, I love that ONVIF and RTSP work without the trauma that you get from some other cameras, and I Iove that you can use a modern browser (or their configuration software - a little clunky) to configure them. The picture quality is good, and they look good at night. The original ones have been running perfectly for years. I have several of the newer models that went up painlessly. Here is where I have knocked 2 stars off. About a month ago, one of the newer ones stopped working, which is 4 months after it was installed. It is on a remote pole on my property, and I have had issues with bugs or frogs out there before, so I figured that was the case. It is not a super important position, so I neglected to play with it for a while. Then last week (5 and a half months after install) , another one stopped working - my front door. This is more important, so I tackled it this weekend. I broke out my trusty Fluke meter and tested the cable, all good, I tested the PoE,, all good, I checked the connectors, all clean and fine. So I took the camera in and plugged it directly into my test PoE switch - dead. I tried it with an exterior power supply, still dead. No response. So I figured I would go pull the one on the pole and see what was up with that one. No frogs or bugs - ran all the same tests, same result. So now, within 6 months of install, I have 2 dead cameras. All my other 14 cameras on my network, both of the same brand (I have only buying Anpviz for the last 3 years because I liked them so much) and different brands are working just fine. I can find no reason on my end that would cause them to fail. I had one new in a box that I was planning on putting up somewhere new and had not gotten around to it, so I swapped that into my front door position and it is working fine...and very fast to configure and get running. So now I need to try to figure out how to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help me. I really like these cameras, I just hope that I can figure out what the issue is - did I just get a bad batch? The two that failed were purchased very close in time to each other. I don't know. I will update this as I learn more information.

I have an Annke home security system that I have been using for about 12 years. At various time over the last year I have had six of the eight original cameras die on me. I contacted Annke and they could not help me but they suggested I contact Anpviz Security. Anpviz said they had a 3 meg (now 4 meg) camera that would work with my old equipment. I bought one to test and after a bit of help with their tech line I got it to work just fine. Since then I have purchased five more as my old cameras have died. One of those five was DOA, but Amazon replaced it with zero hassles. I am thinking about just going on a replacing the last two as these new cameras produce a better image in 1080p than my originals My current DVR is only capable of working in 1080p and so I am unable to use these cameras to their full capacity. Although I expect I will be able make full use of them when my DVR dies and I replace it with a new Anpviz system..

****TLDR**** A great little PoE IP camera at a very reasonable price. **** Installing a fair amount of IP CCTV systems, my company has found that this 3MP model from Anpviz nicely hits the sweet spot of price and performance. Most lower-priced systems will NOT need over 1080p resolution, nor are they equipped with large enough storage to store a meanigful amount of data once you have 12-16 cameras running. We install this camera by default, unless the client specifically requests something different, and have found that they are incredibly easy to setup if you are using a Hikvision (or compatible) DVR/NVR, or if your DVR/NVR supports ONVIF. Hikvision systems will indeed be "plug and play", meaning they will get an IP address and work at full resolution as soon as connected to the NVR. This is a big time saver, not having to manually configure 16 cameras. We have limited experience with using these outdoors, but they appear that if they are installed properly, they should easily handle the elements. The one thing I noted was that their low-end temperature range is 14 degrees F. I know that in Pittsburgh, Pa in the dead of winter, we can reach near or sub-zero temps with double digit negative wind chills. I'm curious to see how the system we just installed (including 2 exterior cameras) fares thru the next winter.

I own 7 IP cameras, all by different manufacturers, most of them WIFI. Most have quirks - some need Flash, some need ActiveX/IE, most send data to China. Not so with this camera: * No-nonsense configuration - any browser, point to IP, configure, preview, etc. No Flash, no ActiveX, works great in Chrome on Linux. No mobile APP needed. * Has RTSP, ONVIF, etc. (which is all I needed to use with a Linux NVR) * Fairly wide angle (see photos). I have not tested storage or motion detection because I don't need it. POE works nicely. I'm very happy with it, this is the most pleasant camera to set up among my stable.
