My original controller stopped working. I'd spin the rear wheel by hand, twist the throttle, and hear a click of the relay, but there was no voltage going to the motor. FYI, the wheel must spin to get the controller to output power to the wheels After replacing the new controller, the scooter worked normally again.

Trying to fix a Pulse 12V scooter that stopped working. A little investigation with a meter revealed there was no 12V going to the motor when the throttle was punched. You could hear the throttle relay click. Checked the brake switch and it was working as expected to control the interrupt relay that stops current feed to motor when brake was applied, but there was no voltage when brake was released. Brake switch would never activate the interrupt relay. Apparently, the interrupt relay was faulty on the original controller. Ordered this one and replaced the original controller with this new one and the problem remained. Returned controller for a refund and went another direction to get the scooter fixed by using a separate Bosch 12V relay to interrupt the power to the motor when brake is applied.
