This will come with everythingyou see, as well as the valve and the trim plate. The valve is whatgoes inside the wall, and the trim is the pretty pieces on the outside.Our valves come with both, and most others sell them seperately.Hopefully this helps you out, and doesn't confuse you to much.Thanks for your interest in our shower heads!Bill,Zoe Industries **Q: Is it all metal?** A: No. The surface of the shower head is a rubber like material. I find this to be good for keeping the shower head easier to keep free of hard water deposits. These hard water deposits can redirect the flow of water. By just running my finger over the rubber tips it cleans out the deposit and I don't have any sideways sprays. This has been my experience. After the diverter valve there is a short female-female coupler, which the extension threads into. It's a bit of a cobbled-together mess. Why couldn't the valve have female threads and eliminate a point of failure? As it is, there is no mechanism for indexing the extension. For the one we received, the only way to get the fittings tight was to have the shower head pointed at the ceiling.
