Very juicy, tasty hot dogs and polish sausages
I bought this 'retro style" hot dog cooker/warmer and have used it a few times a week. We've made hot dogs, polish sausages, taquitos, egg rolls and breakfast sausage links in it. It does a pretty good job! I thought it was outstanding until I recently purchased an AMASTE AIRFRYER and to be honest -nothing compared to that! If not for that - this was the best hot dog maker we've ever had! We liked it better than outside grilling! The foods we made in this machine was delicious and the it did the job expected. You won't be sorry if you decide to get this warmer. We just happen to like the way the AIRFRYER makes them better. It's a matter of taste! You get this warmer in a beautiful, retro style red, with an old-fashioned "nostalgic" flair!! Simple to put together. Just put the four white dowels in their slot and top the canopy in the top slots and it snaps together and easily lifts off if you want to remove the canopy. The canopy is a bun warmer. I did not find that function helpful at all. Even wrapping the buns in paper towels the buns would dry out a bit. So didn't use that feature. My rollers were warped a bit -not warped like damage -but, out of alignment is probably a better term. So I had to adjust it to sit solid and fit in the slots evenly. So keep that in mind when you are assembling your machine. If it doesn't sit perfectly -look at it from a distance and see which side needs pulled a bit to align the rollers up. Hope your sits perfectly and you don't have to do that to yours. It's not a big deal if you do have to adjust it --it's a simple thing. Especially after taking it out and washing them and setting them back in. So it can happen when you clean them as well. It has a minimum heat to maximum heat dial (I always set it on max) and an on/off dial. Warm up the rollers for about 3 minutes and then place your hot dogs, sausages, egg rolls, etc... on the rollers. I did find the 'bun length' hot dogs did not like to roll and would get stop until you gave them a push with a fork or your fingers. Regular hot dogs or other food did just fine -it was the way the Ball Park bun length hot dog had ridges in the sides. So keep that in mind if you buy that brand of hot dogs. Ball Park regular hot dogs were fine... it was just the bun length that had that issue. It says you can cook up to 8 hot dogs - I never needed that many at one time so I have no clue how they would cook with that many on the rollers. I usually just made 3 or 4 at a time. They toasted up BEAUTIFULLY and the aroma was divine! It's what you look for in a grilled hot dog. You can get them as light or as dark as you want. One thing I didn't care for was cleaning the machine. Some of the juices would run down on the elements of the cooker and it was not easy to get it off. It came off but it was a little difficult to get it cleaned up. It does have a slide-out tray to catch the juices under the rollers. It has the neatest style and excellent taste of hot dogs and polish sausage ever! Those were our favorites and the machine did exactly what you expected from a grill. It's so convenient and great for small spaces. It doesn't take up much space at all. The unit is: 14.75 x 8.5 x 14

Great Novelty Gift
Was bought as a Christmas gift. Totally works as expected! Rolls the dogs perfectly (depending on brand/shape), cooking them evenly and quickly (about 5-7 minutes on high). Perfect for a college student when wanting to stay indoors. Tastes much better than boiling and gets a good laugh out of some people. Well built product.

Nice Product
I like this hotdog warmer. It was easy to put together, and it is easy to use. However, it is kind of flimsy. The bum warmer takes so long to warm up that by the time the hotdogs are done, the buns come out hard. Other than that, it is worth the money.

Best hotdogs ever
Now I can hotdogs that taste and warms it perfectly, it really does too. On high it takes from 7-10 min if your not in a hurry you can set the cooker dial lower and I thought that after a few hotdogs that the rollers would get caked on and hard to clean but it’s not all hard to clean all the roller comes out like a rack and if you take a wet paper towel to it it’s good as new I’m really glad I got this well worth the price

Great for kids, parties and gamerooms
We bought this to cook hotdogs during our poker games. It's great and guests love it. It makes good hotdogs. Few tips: 1. Don't turn the heat up all the way unless you are ready to eat your hotdogs quick, they will not burn but they will over cook. 2. Don't use the bun warmer, it tends to dry the bread out 3. spray the rollers with pam before you use it. I highly recommend this product, It's the 3rd one I've bbought over the last 20 years.t

I'm so disappointed
I really expected this to be nice to have. Instead, it just takes up space. The hot dogs do not taste any better than they would if I just microwaved them, and I can't do what I would really like to do (which is leave them on until I want them). The settings are basically high and off. If it isn't on high, it's off. The hot dogs barely brown. I am trying egg rolls on them tonight, but the extremely high amount of time it takes to cook something could really only be justified if either the product came out exceptionally tasty or if you could just leave it running and then get what you want off of it when you want it. Neither of these things are true, so this is basically a waste. The thing is that they could have easily made a very useful product if they had only done one thing: given it a continuously variable setting mechanism. Barring that, they could have given it three or four actual settings that worked. Instead, it is just for looks and nothing else. Why make such a useless product?

Great for beef hot dogs
I used to find making beef hot dogs annoying to do because of the oils that would get in the water when steamed or boiled, but this makes cooking beef hot dogs less annoying to clean afterwards, a tip for people who get their hot dogs from packages is to watch the hot dogs for the first minute or two or until they start rolling by themselves, because I would have problems because the hot dogs would get stuck and not roll due to the slight squareness, if you're especially lazy while cleaning you can just turn on the rollers and wipe them

Works well cooking the weiners but need to watch that they are turning properly. Weiners have some flat sides when first out of the package so they don't turn properly until they have been heated a bit. The bun warmer is for looks only and doesn't really work. It's too far from the heat source which is not strong enough to warm the buns.
