Cable Works Fine for Connections to Serial Devices
This is a good replacement for stock serial cables that are used on devices such as Cisco routers and switches. It also works fine on other compatible devices, I have used it on servers as well. Bottom line is that it seems well built and it works.

Doesn't work.
Flat out didn't work. Luckily my client dug through some old boxes and found a cisco cable that worked fine. Sure made me look stupid that I had a cable that didn't work, as their cisco engineer. Find a cisco brand cable. I wish I could've returned it, however, I didn't 'test' it until I was in the field with a down firewall.
