The Death Gate Cycle Complete Series Set ( 1- 7 )

Classic early 90s late 80s high fantasy. If you're a fan of the genre you may enjoy this. Some of the typical archetypes of Tolkien / D&D series, but some really unique aspects added to this. A ton of world building included and the first read through has awesome plot reveals with tragedy.

Great series. Difficult to find. But pricey for the set.

Arguably one of the best fantasy series.

Great series. Read about 30 years ago and wanted to get the set for my son. Exactly as advertised. Think of planetary LOTR

I first read these when I was a teenager, and I thought (and still think) they are one of the most interesting ideas in all of Fantasy. Well written, with great character work and each one a new and intricately constructed fantasy world. If you're looking to pick up the whole series and you want mass-market reader copies, this 7-book set is the way to go.

I love this series! I read it as a teenager, and I'm enjoying it again as an adult. Highly recommend for all fantasy lovers.

I like fantasy, but because I'm claustrophobic, I had trouble with the world that was underground in caverns; as well as the "zombies". The 4 stars is because it was too horror for me. I liked the story overall, and was anxious to start the next book. It was awesome to have a main character that carried through the entire series (actually several characters).

If you love Raistlin Magere and Derek Sagan, then you will love Haplo who is the very same antihero type of character. In fact, he might even have had his beginnings as the punishment for Derek Sagan's and Maigrey Moriani's forbidden love. If you understand what I've just written, buy the series.

This is by far the best series l have ever read in my life. I only wish Peter Jackson would make a film of it!!!!

So many of the characters are multidimensional! They are not all just good and evil… they all play someone of the grey spectrum. Definitely worth reading if you are looking for a little more from your hero’s and villains!
