What this board does, is to accept the input of a m-Sata (physical format) - Solid State Drive - and allow it to be mounted and read from a USB port on another device. So, if you had the current version of Raspberry PI O.S. (Bulls Eye?) installed on a m-Sata solid state disk and wish to boot your PI from the USB port, then this is possible. There is no version of this board that is, so to speak, "made for " the Raspberry PI. It is through standard interfaces and interface communication protocols that allow different devices to hook-up and effectively communicate. Hope this helps!
