Very sharp, will cut most everything you throw at it.

These are small, have a fairly long "bill", and are sharp. Also rust resistant. I am sure they will cut aluminum, and thin sheet steel, but I would not use them for anything nearly as thick as metal roofing. Excellent for cutting thin aluminum flashings, trimming flowers, and, on the farm, cutting down green briars, cutting any small tree seedlings, noxious weeds, etc. Good for carrying in a scabbard while walking, checking the field edges and fence rows.

Wiss products are great and these are no exception. I thought I was buying little cutters to trim maryjane plants but these are actually larger snippers. I still love them and use them for so many different things.

I have other crescent cutters and had my doubts about these because they’re so cheap but they are the deal. I won’t cut sheet metal with them but they’re great for copper wire smaller than 10ga, plastic clam shell, etc, etc.I’m very satisfied.

Work as described.

These serrated snips will cut through paper, cardboard, clamshell plastic, and the like with ease. This replaces the Fiscars snips (of a very similar design) that are currently unavailable. They work just as well as the other brand, and time will tell in terms of durability.It will also cut through some tougher stuff like thin sheet metal (but not as easily as tools designed for it like tin snips). Like virtually any scissors, it's not immune to accumulating adhesive residue if you use it to cut strong tape, so if you do this you'll need to clean the gunk off the blades occasionally with an appropriate solvent.

The media could not be loaded. Not sure what my old pair was it disappeared but it was issued from corporate Marriott or the U.S. Navy I hope they show up someday then I'll have two pair but these are just as good
