I would highly recommend this to any art or history lover - the brief descriptions of the artists' lives are sometimes just as interesting as the art. Aside from being an excellent example of how (women) artists have been written out of history, it's a great quality art book - the pictures are all very clear and the paper is of sufficient quality to show them well.
