No buttons needed! Auto recharge! No audio drop outs.
I've had these headphones about a month now, and they've had daily use in that time so I'm at a point where I can write an accurate review for them. First impressions: The headphone case comes covered in a protective film on both sides, and along the charging display inside. It can be easily peeled off to reveal the shiny smooth finish, and doesn't leave any residue behind. The charging case comes with the stereo pair of fully wireless headphones, as well as two different sizes of alternate rubber ear-pieces along with the ones already on the headphones. They're of the standard design, so you can easily buy replacements if you lose all the sets. There's a little lanyard strap that can be fitted to the end of the case for easy carrying and there's a little USB A male to USB B male Micro cable for recharging the power bank - or using it to charge your phone in an emergency! The charging connectors consists of four gold plated "pogo pins" in the case, and 4 gold plated pads on the headphones - 2 on each device. The gold plating ensures there's a good connection when they're being recharged. The case is magnetic internally where the headphones sit to ensure the headphones stay in place during charging. Setting up: This is easy! You just take them out of the case and they'll appear on your phone - at which point you pair them. Everyday use: To use them once they're pair with your phone is easy - you just take them out of the case and put them straight into your ears. They turn on automatically. The headphones in turn say rather quickly: "Paired!" (with each other - as soon as you take them out of their case) Straight after they say: "Left channel!" (The left ear piece) "Right channel!" (The right ear piece says this) "Second device connected" (Your phone) The left/right letters are printed clearly in white on black on the ear-side of the headphones too. The audio they go through takes all of 4 seconds, and helps you to spot any problems you might have.I didn't have any problems with mine this past month. Opening or closing the case wakes the capacity display so you know how much charge you have left to top up your phone and headphones. A 100% charge of the case lasts me around 2 weeks, each time I use the headphones for between 1 and 3 hours a day, and when I place them back in the case, they are automatically recharged. The re-charging of the headphones works independently - so if one needs a little more topping up it will get it. This independent charging is a great advantage as it keeps the batteries from being overcharged shortening their life. Yay! If they were charged together as a single unit - when one headphones is fully charged but the other one isn't - the charger would keep charging them both which leads to damaged of the charged battery. Audio quality: The headphones make a good seal thanks to the in-ear rubber plugs and are made to have a strong bass, combined these make explosion sounds and heavy bass drums sound great and clear. The mid-range and treble are easier to get on in-ear headphones and these supply those audio frequencies without any problems. As you can see in the photographs - there's a protective mesh to prevent bits from getting in to the speakers of the headphones too. Controls: Both headphones are controlled from their touch-sensitive outward-facing surfaces. They don't react to passing brief touches or glances. To pause the audio you press either one of them for about half a second. To resume play you do the same again. To lower the volume you press the right headphone for 1.5 seconds and it beeps and the volume drops a level. The same is true to louden them - you press the left headphone in a similar way. To turn them off you touch either headphone for a count of 3 seconds. They BOTH then turn off. To turn them on again you either put them in the case and take them out, or press and hold either headphone surface for another 3 seconds. The dreaded "Completely wireless one ear audio drop out" situation: Bluetooth 4.0 wireless headphones often suffered from audio cut-outs BETWEEN the headphones. The reason was, the phone would link to the right ear piece as a stereo device, and the right ear would play the right channel into the ear, and re-transmit the left audio channel to the left ear headphone. The human head absorbs Bluetooth radio very well... and often the right headphone's signal wouldn't get to the left earphone - and the sound would drop out! With THESE headphones, they use Bluetooth 5 which solves this issue of poor reception and I've NEVER had left-ear dropout while I've been using these headphones. That's why I use them every day getting ready for work. I can do my hair, and walk around while listening to scary audio books. =) The one thing completely wireless headphones can't support well is real-time gaming. You'll always hear a slight lag due to the between ear transmission that's needed. Even the ones that rhyme with Napple do this. Android phones and others know when you're using completely wireless headphones and alter their audio when playing video's so you won't see any out of sync issues. It's just the live action video games. Overall: I'm using these as my main "getting ready for work" headphones. They come on and link to my phone by simply taking them out of the case. I walk around getting ready for work, and doing my teeth and hair without any wire getting in the way. The connection remains solid. When I come to leave for work, I put them back in their case and they turn off automatically and start re-charging. It's wonderful! 2 weeks later and I'm down to about 14% battery, so I recharged my case last night. the headphones also charge while the case is charging - so I don't even miss a morning in this situation. I've had some wireless headphones in the past.... but I've never wanted to buy them again. Not so with these. I'll be getting a new pair if I wear these out. =) Come to think of it - they're just the right price for a Christmas present for a couple of people I know...

Good product shame about the customer service from Basstop
The item arrived on time looked good and sounded good. However after two months the right hand ear bud failed to function ie it had no lights to indicate what it was doing it was completely dead. I spoke to amazing and after they tried a trouble shooting test which failed they gave me the details for the company (Basstop) that sold the item. After several emails back and forth and 4 days with me explaining the problem them going through the test again then them asking for photos showing the problem. Basstop gave me two options either except a 75% rebate or a replacement item at 95% discount with a discount code. The earphones are a very good and comfortable product but the customer service from basstop is appalling. Eithe replace the item for free or give 100% of the money back please.

Model 2 review
Ok so, first thing is first. 100% worth the money amazing bass and sound for the price. I have the "new model 2" version also namesd C5S. Pairing was no problem and auto connects to my s10+ whilst also remaining connected to my gear s3 watch. Before purchasing i couldnt find any reviews or detailed info about these so was a risk. For those looking for clarity please read below. The case itself is great- securly closed without the risk of opening - lid feels magnetic. The battery percentage indicator is for the case (not the headphones) however you can check the battery percentage of the headphones on you phone by opening bluetooth devices. Althought its claimed to be 3500mah charging the headphones from 70-100% used almost half of the cases battery so would definitely be worth having a charger present for trips. The headphones fit comfortably with no issues on falling out. Whilst charging in the box the headphones glow red and turn off when fully charged. The charging box detects when they are full and also turns off after a few seconds. When turned on the green light glows on and off (pulsing) whilst in ears. Range wise i have tested by leaving phone upstairs and am able to walk around my entire house without any drop out. Touch controls on the headphones include- skip song (double tap) left headphone/previous song (double tap) right headphone, pause song, triple tap voice assistant on phone, press and hold 2 seconds volume, tap to answer calls/hang up etc. Microphone wise have made a few phone calls and people on the other end hear me with no issues. Battery wise on headphones seems accurate, 2 hours full volume listening to music took the headphones from 100-70% so the 5 hour time advertised definitely seems viable. Overall is a great product for price, but dont be under the beleif that with each earphone being 50mah that you will be able to charge a huge amount of times from the case. I am yet to test but based on the charge from 70-100% i would assume 2-3 charges at most. Again a great product for the price and especially for people who like EDM/Bass a great sounding pair of wireless headphones.

Decent sound, good batter, clunky controls.
Firstly I have to say that the sound quality on these headphones isn't too bad for a low end product and I was pleasantly surprised. The battery life is really quite substantial and the carry case doubles up as a wireless charger so you shouldn't find yourself short of music unless you forget to top it up from time to time. The issue with these headphones however comes in the control and set up (for me anyway). The touch control is a bit hit and miss at times and slow to respond as well as being back to front. To turn volume up you use the left headphone and to turn it down you use the right... Similarly you go to the next song by using the left headphone and backwards with the right. This, to me, just seems a bit counter intuitive considering everything else we do is left for backwards and right for forwards. I could have got used to it but unfortunately the left headphone didn't stay in all that well so I opted to return them. (I must have a dodgy left ear because this has happened a lot before so it is not a fault of the product). The connection took a little bit of getting used to and at times, after syncing, it was slow to connect to my phone. Overall, I recommend but unfortunately I couldn't get on with it.

Not good at all....sorry!
Got these only yesterday and tried them for the first time this morning. Here's my initial thoughts Music Quality: Can't fault the music quality to be honest, sounds as good as any other headphones/earbuds I have been using Call Quality: Absolutely dire!!! I use my phone all day for my business and I would have settled for a reasonable call quality but to be honest the very first call I made the person I was speaking with was unable to either hear me properly or understand me. As such I had to end the call and put a pair of cheap wired ear buds in that increased the call quality 100 fold! Such a pity as I really wanted these to work....unfortunately I will be sending them back asking for a refund. Maybe you do get what you pay for after all!

I can't believe how good these are
I got these this morning and eagerly ripped into the box to stuff them into my ears. I was expecting lots of things and I was wrong. I expected 0 battery, a fight to connect to MP3 player and a loose or Ill fit where they may fall out. What I found was 97% charge to the case and full charge on the buds. (Excellent!) The connection took seconds (read the manual, it takes a few seconds as it is well explained) and they fit really well. The buds themselves are light, so light there's little weight working against you to fall out. Occasionally you'll touch them just to check but after 5 hours they only came out twice. I wore them shopping and then running. In a supermarket the sound is good, no leakage into the air around me so the music is mine alone. I could hear what was going on around me but I did have to take them out at the till because I couldn't hear what the cashier was saying. Out running I turned the volume up. The sound was brilliant yet the notice cancelling was a worry as road traffic was drowned out. I took one out around roads just to be safe. What does this mean? Well in short you'll get good sound in any location but be safe if using on the road. The battery on the buds ran out about 5 and a half hours after I put them on. I got through four albums and a couple of tracks from the 5th. So there's no worry about missing out on music. The box acts as a recharge port once the buds are inserted and lid closed. So if you're on a journey or at work you won't be hunting for a wall socket and leads. Operating the buds is easy once you've read the manual. Trust me in this as I didn't and got most if the way through by guess work but realised it was volume up on one side and down on the other. They can be used as single items. So you can share with a friend or just use one whilst the other charges. My plan is to wear them in bed, I usually have music playing but wake to find the cable wrapped around me. The wireless bud should easily solve that problem and as you can wear it in either ear, I can roll about and change sides without changing earbuds. Excellent value and well made.

They friggin work really well & do exactly what they say on the tin!
I took a chance with these as I thought that for the money they couldn’t be that good. I was wrong! These are very very good. If you are like me and have to research everything about the product before committingto buying it (read every review and watch every YouTube video) then rest assured that these are worth every penny of the £30 I paid. I have four young kids and it’s VERY friggin noisy in my house but these cancel a lot of their insistent bloody shouting and screaming out! I can now watch YouTube in peace whilst they trash my house like a scene out of freakin Deadpool. The bass is really good to, it’s not going to rattle your eyeballs out of ya head but if you play a decent dance track you will be pleasantly surprised. Setup takes seconds (with an iPhone 6!) and everything else the manufacturer claims is pretty much true, really easy to use and the battery pod lasts ages. The ear pods themselves are very comfortable as long as you put the right size pads on, too big and they hurt, too small and they will slip what’s more the noise canceling will be affected. Overall these are a bloody bargain. Stop mucking about and just buy them, if they stop working in a year I’m not going to give a dump for 30 quid.

Good Value Great Sound
These are great for noise cancellation as they sorta mold to your ear. The bass quality is good out of the box so much so I had to turn down my music apps bass setting. The only slight problems are that there is a lag on things like youtube videos it's mot as noticable during non-video material i.e. music. There are times when the earbugs loose connection when you turn your head but it's minor. Overall if you're looking for full wireless earbuds these are a great buy. When these eventually wear out I'll be purchasing another pair.
