Truly Exceptional
This is a great mineral addition filter in my opinion. I have the Apec RO 90 series and added this to the system as the final filter. Taste is greatly improved! No kidding-For Real! Yes, the taste of the RO water improved. I'll buy this again when it runs out. The filter also included the 1/4" screw in fittings so all you'll need is some 1/4" tubing to connect everything. Lastly, I know it's working as the Total Dissolved Solids went from 6 up to 16.

An easy way to add minerals to Reverse Osmosis water
This additive mineral filter may be introduced at the output of any reverse osmosis (RO) water system. In my case I added it after my APEC 6 stage RO system. In order to install the filter a short length of 1/4 inch tubing will be required. The proper right-angle fittings are provided with the filter and have to be screwed into the filter ends until seated against the provided o'rings. Since I had some extra 1/4 inch tubing from installation of the APEC system, this was not a problem. Else, the correct tubing can be obtained on Amazon from APEC or by contacting APEC directly. There is a definite mineral taste to the water after introducing the filter. The filter will increase the total dissolved solids (TDS) of the water, too, so don't be surprised by this if you measure the water with a TDS meter.

Started tasting like soap

A Filter That Enhances Your Water
This filter met my expectations and delivered what it promised it can do. I can almost taste the minerals in the water and this water really enhanced my whole kefir growing process! I highly recommend it.

A must for home RO system.
The water tastes so much better. I installed this plus an iSpring mineral filter and the water feels right, taste a little weird at first, make sure to break it, dispose at least 3 whole tanks before drinking.
