LEGO Ninjago 9448 Samurai Mech

This set is really cool. Even I thought it was a cool looking. They had a lot of fun putting these together. It even made it to the keeper shelf for sets that are beloved.We got a really good deal on this at only thirty-five bucks. A good rule of thumb for good Lego prices is ten to fifteen cents per piece. So the current price is really outrageous.

Bought this for my 5 year old's birthday and my husband and I fought over who got to build it with him. It's a really fun build, comes apart a bit easily so he got frustrated with it after a day but it only took a few minor modifications to make it more stable and now he loves it!

I just want to take a moment to thank you, LEGO. I will describe exactly 'why', below.First I want to thank you for the quality-made product. Because of your strong Lego's, I now have the three WORST bruises on the bottom of my foot! Walking into my sons room has now become an even more daunting task than before (as if dried banana peels, empty yogurt containers and half-empty water bottles weren't enough). Now, I have to make sure I'm wearing boots, thick socks AND walk on my tip toes (those little suckers come out of NOWHERE).Secondly, thank you for implementing 'Family Time' into your products! It took my son and his father FOUR HOURS to put the Lego guy together!! Now, they have a much better understanding of each others personality. However, his father was so proud of his accomplishment, he posted a photo on his Facebook page of his creation- not twenty minutes later, the Lego guy was in pieces all over again- his father is now on anti-depressants.Thirdly, I love how incredibly evasive those little suckers are! After vacuuming my son's room on multiple occasions, I'm still going in there and stepping on random, scattered pieces strewn about the room.And last, but certainly not least, thank you so much for allowing me to spend $50 on a highly-sought-after Christmas gift only to have it in pieces at the bottom of my vacuum canister!!!

We purchased several Ninjago sets, books and CDs for my grandson for Christmas. Ninjago Legos are the best for sharing time between father ( my son) and son ( my 6 year old grandson). They build these together and display them in my granson's room. Everytime we come over he has a new display to share with us along with a story. While my grandson is slightly younger than the age recommended, he has become a master builder with his Dad's help. Reminds me of the wonderful Lego-time for my son when he was a boy. Lego sets are truly collectable if you keep the box and directions. My son and grandson have re-built the Pirate ship and Knight castle,among others, from 20 years ago.

This is the one and only gift he want on the list the most. It will entertain him for a long time with all the pieces and his friends next door can play Ninjago as a team now!!

This is the first LEGO that I have ever bought on Amazon. I was a bit nervous because I have read fair amount of negative reviews from people buying LEGOS from here. Saying they received LEGOS that were open, used, or missing pieces. Well I took a bit of a risk and it was well worth it. The LEGO was shipped on time and it had all of the pieces. In a clean undented box.

We tend to prefer buying "plain", "City" or "Creator" sets for the kids rather than the branded themes (e.g. "Ninjago", "Star Wars" etc.) but this does seem to be fairly good value for money. Our 8 year old put this together by himself without any need for help. Great!
