Great quality and totally worth the money!
I bought these for my 10-year-old daughter when she started volleyball. At first, I didn’t really want to spend much since it was her first season — but I’m so glad I did! She loves to slide a lot during practice and games, and these kneepads have held up beautifully. The quality is great. She’s now used them for two full seasons, and they’re still in excellent shape. My daughter is about 72 lbs and 4'8", and the fit is perfect. The black color helps them stay looking clean, and they’re very comfortable. They don’t slide down at all. She wears them to every practice and game. Definitely worth the money!

Mizuno Quality For Your Athlete
I have long been a fan of Mizuno, from running gear, to golf gear, I have never been let down by their products. These knee pads for our middle school daughter are no exception. Could I find cheaper, more "cost effective" pads? Sure. Would they be the same high quality backed by a world class brand and there reputation.... no. Here's the details on what to expect from these. Material: Made from a highly elastic material you would find in most medical braces and thick socks. These are designed to be worn and played hard in. The elastic is stretchy and holds tight without cutting off blood flow. Probably not the most breathable material out there, but for what it is designed for I think it was the right choice. They seem very durable and expect them to last a few seasons. Fit: These are T10 knee pads. But don't worry I don't know the difference either. According to the packaging its a sizing measurement and these are made to fit 11-15.5" measurements taken above the knee where the top elastic would fit. My 6th grader is what I would say is average to petite for her age. These fit her very well. Not too loose and not uncomfortably tight. I would say that they might be a little on the loose side, but they hold in place, so no marks off here. Color/Design: Again, Mizuno quality. The logo isn't printed on its embroidered. The black material will hold up a long time and see no reason why it would discolor. Protection/Padding: Awesome! We got these to protect a growing body, and I feel they will do the job well. Without actually measuring the padding i would put it short of 1/2". My guess would be 3/8" padding that is initially soft but toughens up as it is compressed. Not just cheap foam, this is sports designed padding. Packaging: Not sure why this important to some, but if that's you, it comes in a blue plastic bag with a window to see the pads. the bag is resealable allowing your athoete to try them on and return them undamaged if needed. The back side has English, French, and Spanish on the back explaining the build of the pads.

Amazing quality. I was trying to find the perfect size for my 7 year old. They fit good and she has room to grow.

My boyfriend LOVES THESE for work as a plumber
I purchased these for my boyfriend, who is a drain specialist and is on his knees a lot. He loves these, bought two pairs, and he says they stay snug and work great for getting up and down and he can plop down and it pads his knees.

Only use this brand
Great padding and cushion. Gives great support. Design is top notch. Not awkwardly big and bulky but provides the protection and ability to slide/dive for ball.

These have been the best knee pads for 3-4 years and counting
I bought these when my daughter first starting playing volleyball. Since then, we’ve tried different brands of knee pads, but my daughter (who is big on comfort and picky about fit) prefers these above the rest. I personally like how these provide more cushioning not just on the knee but on the sides of the knee as well. Other brands are also shorter in length and she would get court burns around her knee caps. Also, these hold up great in the wash (on delicate) really, really well. She is 12 now and I thought she might want to graduate to adult size knee pads and bought adult size Mizunos, but the fit was too tight in adult small and adult medium. These youth ones still are the perfect fit for her (average size legs; not skinny stick legs). I agree with a previous reviewer that eventually you may want to move to a less padded knee pad as play gets more competitive, but so far these have not restricted her mobility. She is less afraid to dive because she knows the pads will cushion her well.
