KEEN Aphlex Waterproof Walking Shoes

I'd thought that I couldn't afford such wonderful Keen's shoes but, you know, they are not really expensive. They're light, well-made and superbly comfortable, especially if you have slightly wide feet. I'm absolutely delighted with them.

I bought these for my elderly Husband who was having great difficulty in finding the right sort of shoes to suit his needs.He has given them a good trial and has pronounced them a success.The shoes are a broader fitting than most, are very well made and sturdy with plenty of support. I can see that he is walking so much better now and is happier on his daily walk.The inside of the shoes are free from the protrusions that are the bane of the elderly when feet inevitably become sensitive to poor seams.One grumble that is a bigger problem than it sounds - the shoe laces are way too short - please manufacturer realize that shoes need to be easily and firmly tied or they are dangerousI did not drop a star for this omission because I did not want a fallen star to detract from the quality of the main subject ( the shoe) laces can be changed - and that is what he did.Yes - my Husband tells me that he is happy to recommend Austin by Keen.

But one star knocked off because of fairly quick wear on the soles. I will still buy more though as my feet really appreciate them.!!

Brilliant shoe fit is excellent and extremely comfortable

So comfortable ! These are smart enough for formal occasions but casual enough to be worn with jeans. I love them. They didn’t need to be broken in & have a wide footbed.

As others have said: very stiff, incredibly uncomfortable, and they started falling apart after a couple of uses: the glue loosened around the edges.

Quality was good, Ice wide toe area, unfortunately the laces are too short to tie them up and the back of the shoe is very low. Unfortunately not suitable for me and returned.

The leather finishing isnt as expected as it looks as if it is robbed with dust or used even.For the first time to see size EU 49 equivalent to US17. It should be US14 or 14.5. Just a good offer i got it.

Love the looks and the feel of this shoe. I was looking for a casual shoe that worked with khaki's and jeans, the Austins fit the bill just right. This is the third Keen product that I've bought and I continue to be impress with the quality and fit of the product. I highly recommend.

The laces are too short! Size 17 w there is only about 2" of laces on each side, not long enough to tie.

Świetne buty na jesień w mieście. Od razu dobry impregnat na skórę by nie łapały wody. Początkowo na podbiciu twarde i lekko uwierające ale po 2 tygodniach skóra się ukształtowała i są idealne. O dziwo stopa nie poci się po 8 godzinach w butach w biurze i to co najważniejsze przy szerokiej stopie palce mają miejsce w bucie i stopa nie jest przemęczona, obolała. Pod tym względem Keen zwycięża.
