MicroSD 2 GB Memory Card and SD Adapter - Cell Phone Memory Card

I purchased this memory card and adapter for a cell phone. I had an outdated phone, that I wanted to retrieve pictures off of and save before upgrading my phone. My cellular provider was no help. I even tried connenting the phone to my desktop and tried downloading or e-mailing them, but it wouldn't work. I did some research and it was recommed to get this micro SD card and insert it into the cell phone then into the memory card and then into the computer. It work with no problems. I am very pleased with the purchase, I just wish I would have found this out sooner. The cheapest price I found was on Amazon. I looked on my cell providers website to make sure it was compatable with my device, and they were selling just the micro card for almost 10x what I paid on Amazon. Overall great deal if you get it on Amazon.

When I first purchased this item, I really did not know what I was doing as I am totally computer illiterate where most things outside the ordinary is concerned... But I am great at researching & trying to learn what I don't know about these things by my research. My final conclusion on this item was to always purchase the NAME, as well as its' capabilities, so this is what I ordered. Being ignorant of so many things, I tried to insert the chip in my computer face up; it didn't work. (That is to say the metal contacts were on the bottom.) Then I put the chip into the adapter, face up, as a normal older person, I think, would do. My reasoning was that this was the way one plays a CD, or a DVD, with the writing or label on the top when inserting, so why would I assume these went in, what to me seemed like upside down?) Needless to say, this didn't work, either! Well, I was aggravated & gave up until one of my grandchildren, who is 12, came over, & she, too, assumed it went in that way, &, of course, wouldn't work for her, either! So I sent a rather curt email to the one I ordered it from. They responded wonderfully, as helpful as they knew how to be. All they knew was that I was saying that the product didn't work. After a couple of correspondences back & forth, with them doing all they could to make things right for me, (& them, also, of course!), my older grandchild came over, & I asked her what she thought. She came right to my computer, inserted that chip, what to me was upside down, & made it work just like it was meant to be! I asked her what I was doing wrong; she told me to tell her what I did with it. I did, & she said, "Well, Granny, that was wrong! It goes this way." I explained to her why I did it like I did, & she just ignored me. Ah, the no-stress, know-it-all younger generation! But thank God for them, each & every one! What would old fools like us do without them??? I then sent an email to the company, apologized, & explained about being old & ignorant of all these new fangled things that are seemingly doing the older generation in! They remained extraordinarily helpful throughout, & quite professional, in what to me, was quite an ordeal! I won't forget it, nor their company, (eTECH) the next time I need something they sell, there on Amazon, which is why I took the time to tell all these intricate & anal details! Thank God for all the nice people He puts in our lives to show us how we should behave!

I picked this up for my etrex 20 that I just ordered. haven't use it yet but did check it out on my pc to make sure that it is reading it. Looks good, If I have any problems I will update my review as needed. It only cost 59 cents!!!

I purchased two of these for a Canon camera I own. They were super! First, by purchasing the mini SD with an adapter, I allowed for future changes of use that might arise while still having the same level of operation as with a conventionally sized SD card. Further the speed of operation for photographs makes the card a perfect fit and a choice I am pleased I made.

I have not yet upgraded to a smartphone, but I still wanted to be able to take pictures on my phone and put them on my computer. This little device has allowed me to do that with no problem. Just take the photos with your Micro-SD capable phone, put the memory card into the phone, move the pictures to the card, and then use the adapter to put pictures on your PC! It's that easy. The price for this item here on Amazon was a fraction of suggested retail price. Gotta love Amazon and its ability to get what you need for less money.

Works well, fits my cellphone and I can now transfer my pictures to it and then transfer them to my computer.Just what I needed and the adapter works with my printer.Thank you much

my camera and computer only read the old up to 2GB card so this works fine or I can use the micro without adapter in phone or roku. tested and worked, was a genuine sandisk (though I own other brands without problems this was supposed to be and was a sandisk), came in clear single card case plastic jewel case/ would order again, note: it doesn't say so but does not come in retail pkg (but they don't come with jewel case either so....)shipped promptly from NY unprime but free and quick, just the way I like it
