Ballistic iPad Air 2 Black Tough Jacket Case

I am absolutely impressed! I spent hours scouring the internet looking for a case that would work for my specific needs... I wanted something that provided protection, a professional look, and a slim profile, all at a reasonable cost. For my specific needs, folio cases were out and I hate the concept of built in screen protectors... But that's all I seemed to find!After much research, I came across this case and it looked like a perfect fit! I am so very happy with my purchase!This case is pretty slim in my opinion and yet it is protective and grippy! It has reinforced corners made for drops and I can use my own (replaceable) glass screen protectors for screen protection.This case does come with an additional piece that provides additional screen protection while the iPad is being stored as well as kickstand capability when needed. When this piece is not in use, it can be attached to the back of your iPad, out of the way. Ballistic did a great job thinking ahead and created cutouts into this additional piece for all ports (speakers, charging port, headphone jack, and camera). Everything lined up perfectly when I received it (a little over a month ago) and I am still very happy with my purchase!

So far so good. I have a 10 year old who magically cracks his ipad screen once a year with whatever protective case is on it. We have used Otterbox Defender cases and Gumdrop cases among others. The Ballistic case does not have a screen protector on it but at this point I'm not sure that is an issue as much as drops etc. The corners are very padded and overall it appears to be a very sturdy protective case, time will tell how protective. The stand is nice and allows for hands free viewing and when used covers the screen and acts as a protective cover when not in use.

I bought this case for my 10 year old son. He loves it. It does not have a built-in screen protector, but we like that and added our own. It comes with a plastic "lid" that would be good for travel and protect the screen. I haven't seen him use that part of the case but it is still nice to have. This seems like it will really protect the ipad if it drops, but luckily that hasn't happened yet, so I can't attest to that. It very much resembles other good brands like Otterbox and Lifeproof but for a much better price. It seems to offer lots of protection but not too much bulk. Great for kids. It has a stand but my son never uses it, so I can't say if it works well.

I've had this case for several months now ..... It is a wonderful case. Protects the iPad exceptionally well .... The reinforced corners have saved the device from damage numerous times --- getting knocked off a table, night stand, etc. etc. I'm getting an iPad for my mom and will be getting THIS case to protect it. Some may look at the large corners and think it's not a "sleek or fashionable" case -- but the name of the game here is protection, folks ......... and Ballistic wins on that count hands down in my book!

case is holding up well. Stand in the back is a little small to be used on an uneven surface, otherwise really like it. Seems to protect the pad well.

Held up great and easy to fit on the ipad Air 2. We especially like the kickstand---super handy. The iPad2 Air still feels thin too. Protection without bulk.

Outstanding product, but the screen protector on the smaller one for my Android tablet closes more securely. Still offers outstanding protection.
