Good purchase
Purchased this several months ago when we discovered our cat was using the poor young tree as a new scratching post!! This screen does the job— protects the tree and is more breathable than plastic.. It was super easy to install, fits close to the tree & and has proven to be very durable.

Time saver
Really like these. Used to wrap young trees in the fall so mice wouldn’t eat bark and kill tree. Then unwrap in spring so trees wouldn’t rot or have insects underneath. Now with this wrap it allows bark to breathe and did not have any mice damage over winter. No need to remove each spring now. Little awkward getting zip ties put on but well worth the one time effort.

Protect tree trunks from deer
I've used them before and they work. The deer leave my trees alone when the mesh is in use.

Us versus the beavers!
We have been using this barrier on our apple trees as the beavers have destroyed four of them so far, but the tree back protector has been working as a deterrent so far…fingers crossed!!

Plastic. Works, but worthwhile?
Good plastic. No stakes to stake them down, so I had to borrow them from my previous tree guards. Plastic, so I think, as a CPA, that their gross profit was probably about 75%. It works now at least.

Stopped the tree damage
Perfect for stopping the rabbits from eating the tree bark on my Japanese maple.
