Fantastic patio heater - and even better natural hair dryer!
I bought this after I'd tried an alternative brand that was absolutely terrible. By contrast, this heater is absolutely fantastic. So far I've ve only had to use it on the lowest of three settings, and it really fires out some heat. It's robustly made, easy to put together and use, and looks like it will last a good amount of time. It's also easy to move around, and the height of the heated head adjusts from about 4ft to about 7ft high, and can be angled up or down. The only drawback is that it needs to be used within about 3 feet of a socket at skirting level, as the cable is quite short and the instructions say not to plug it in to an extension lead. I actually bought this to naturally air dry my hair, as I noticed that a very expensive infrared wall heater at work dries my hair super fast, and this is just as good. If my hair is in pin curls, it usually takes 5 to 6 hours to air dry, but if I use a hairdryer to speed the process, it goes frizzy. But when I set this heater down on its stand to about head height when seated, it gently dries my hair, beautifully softly and smoothly, in about an hour, with no frizz. I bought two, and sit about 4 feet away from them, and they gently do their job. One is also very efficient at heating my garden office, and when sitting outside on the patio, keeps me toasty warm. I bought them for £29.99 each and at that price, I think they're fantastic value for money.

Lifesaver during energy crisis!
I am using this to heat individual rooms in my house as it's too expensive to put the central heating on. Usually i'll blast it on medium or maximum for 10/15 minutes which warms up a room quickly and then switch it onto low and aim it at me keeping me toasty warm. This is in conditions between -3 to +3 degrees C. Because it is an infrared heater, it warms objects rather than just the air, the objects (including people) then radiate the heat. The heat lasts a lot longer in my experience that when a space has been heated by an electric coil or halogen heater, where the heat seems to dissipate almost instantly. Also, because it doesn't require a fan, it is a much more comfortable heat to have directly on you. A quick note to run it for an hour or so in a well ventilated room when you first get it, this fully cures the coating & "seasons" the heater, it will give off some odour during this time and may set off smoke alarms. Mine no longer does this. Highly recommend this heater!

Great product
Bought this for be place under an outside dinning table for that little Extra warmth at night. It’s just the right out put so as to prevent burning and heat radiates outward at just the correct distance and wattage. Highly recommend for this purpose other then that additional heaters would be required.

Well made, very hot!
I've tried a few of these. This one is really nicely made - proper quality. The control is simply on or off, so it works well without trying to be too clever. Main thing: very hot, even too hot! I have it about 1.5m above a dining table outside, and it's hot under it, and warm around the table area. I'm sure it will be good when it gets really cold outside. Very well made, very effective, good quality, happy with this.

Excellent product - love it!
I thought long and hard before buying this patio heater and read the many reviews with interest. I struggled a bit to put it together but I’m pretty rubbish at assembly, so my son helped me. It would have been good if there was a video on YouTube to demonstrate this. Also I don’t understand why the controls are the same and repeat. However it looks impressive, is a good solid weight and the heat it gives off is really good without being too strong.

It's "OK", but not suitable for cold days, only "chilly"
Nice an easy to set up, doesn't look to bad. Had this about a month and used it 3 times. We have it actually inside a 9x9 Gazebo on top of a coffee table and we have the sides of the gazebo closed - The first few times the temperature was "chilly outside" not exactly sure, around 15 degrees C, it was good enough to sit in the Gazebo for several hours easily, but today temperature is around 10 degrees C and its juts not putting out enough heat.

Brilliant patio heater
A great buy! Absolute must for cooler/cold days. You can still have a cuppa outside it really does belt out some heat. The remote is handy too. What a bargain.

Effective, particularly if sited slightly above ground level.
This provides soft, sun-like warmth if you sit two to three feet from it. We have used two in the pandemic at those times when it has been permitted to meet in the garden, one for us and one for a visiting couple. Quite pleasant heat. Ideal for use on patio/decking especially if it can be safely located a couple of feet above the ground as you sit near it. We, and our visitors, are very happy with it. It is easily transportable and is upright so has quite a small footprint for storage - about a square foot should be sufficient Its only drawback is the 1.8 metre cable. You will almost certainly need to use in conjunction with an extension lead.
