I bought this explosion box as a congratulatory/birthday gift for my friend, and it exceeded my expectations in both quality and creativity potential. The box’s unique design is absolutely gorgeous when opened it really has that “wow” factor. I love that it comes pre-assembled, which saved me a ton of time. All I had to do was add my personal touches photos, stickers, and little notes making the whole process fun and totally stress free. I filled it with memorable keepsake photos of my friend and me, and in the center, I placed a heartfelt letter and a friendship bracelet. She was so touched—it’s truly a gift that brings emotions to life. The included ribbons, stickers, and small decorative pieces were a nice bonus, and the overall construction feels sturdy enough to hold everything securely. This is perfect for any special occasion. I Highly recommend for anyone wanting to create something unique and heartfelt!

The box came in good condition. The layers are already assembled, so all you have to do is decide what pictures go where and what size to make them. The kit also included 14 extra shapes to put pictures, which were fun in the end, but a few were confusing as I didn't know how they worked. It also came with a skinny roll of clear adhesive and a sheet of colorful adhesives that you can put on the corners of the pictures. The outside lid was dented in one area, but overall very presentable. The layers in the box hold 24 photos total, and you can fit around 32 more in the various inserts the box comes with. I used a total of 56 photos. The most difficult part about this box was sizing the photos. I decided which photos were placed where, then used befunky.com to resize them. I used the dimensions from another review on Amazon, which worked perfectly: On the first, biggest layer, the dimensions were 4.5" x 3.5". The second layer was 3.75" x 2.9". The third layer was 3.25" x 2.38". The smallest layer was 2.75" x 2". In the center is a little shallow box you can either remove or place a small gift in. For the 14 extra pieces, you will have to measure each one and resize your photos accordingly. Some of the pieces were confusing, so I attached a video of some that are weird, so you have an idea of how to use them. The orientation of your photos doesn't really matter; I placed photos a mix of portrait and horizontally, and it looked totally fine. My biggest problem was finding where to print out the photos in the sizes I needed them. I ended up printing them myself, because I have a decent printer. The pictures weren't glossy, but my box still turned out fine. Upon taking the lid off, the first two layers would fall to the table. My issue was getting the last two layers to lay flat. I found because they didn't have much weight, they would stay upright when I took the lid off. I added embellishments of doodles, paper, glitter, and stickers, but the photos by themselves are good enough. In total, I spent upwards of 10 hours designing this, but the person I gifted it to absolutely loved it. It's a great present for the money, just be prepared to spend a while making it perfect.

Although this is a super cute gift, this comes with no instructions, the tape they gave me along with the “especially for you” sticker was dirty and ripped. Other than that, the box is already built

I absolutely love this. I wanted to do something special for my mom's birthday and decided to try an explosion box. This is a fantastic gift if you want to give something handmade. The box comes assembled with each smaller piece glued into the next in an offset pattern. The two outermost box tabs all have pockets allowing you to place cards or photographs inside. The box is fairly sized although the offset pattern may make it a little difficult to add bulkier items such as chocolates. I was able to glue in a full 6-pack of snack-size peanut m&ms into the 3rd layer of the box. It closes fine but has a slight bulge to it. The smallest box on the inside can be taken out and is large enough to put in a decently sized watch or small perfume bottle. The box also comes with a variety of frames and decor pieces as shown in the pictures although I think these would fit most easily in the outermost 2 layers. They also provide you w triangle tabs for sticking in photographs, 2 faux sunflowers (which I thought were a little tacky), ribbon, an "especially for you" sticker, and double-sided tape. The quality of the box is very nice. The boxes are made of a thick cardstock type material that will not easily tear and can hold some weight. The lids of the boxes seemed to be made up of a little lighter material but appear to be holding up fine. Overall, if you want to make something personalized for someone special this is a great purchase that allows room for a lot of creativity.

Bought this for a friends 50th It’s a great box , easy to assemble and is a fabulous present . Got all different messages and photos stuck them on and wrote in the compartments. Was a really lovely gift
