Excellent for medium grit sponge. Removes wallboard spackle quick enough without being too aggressive. Sponge is a parallelogram, not a quadralateral, so 2 edges get in tight spaces. 3M sandpaper and sponges are worthehe extra money---unless you need arm exercise.

I purchased this product to specifically target difficult spots when sanding down an outboard lower unit. I had no issues and it worked as intended. I would order again.

This is what I expected. I have bought other sanding sponges that end up with gouges out of them because the sponge behind the sand paper wasn't strong, and in fact, many I've found are just awful. At least you know with these 3m blocks, you're getting something of quality.
