Rambo: Last Blood

A REALLY GOOD FILM .I THROUGHLY ENJOYED IT. SLY IS GETTING ON BUT WELL WORTH WATCHING AS A ACTION HERO.

This movie was awesome. Stallone may be getting older, but he's still got it. Like John Wayne did. I think this was the best of the Rambo series.

Good Stalone movie. It’s a pleasure to see the bad guys get what they deserve! Good acting.

SPOILERS ahead... This is a good depiction of corruption in Mexico, which Rambo expects when his niece is kidnapped, saying that the Mexican authorities won't do anything about it as he prepares for combat. And, in fact, when he gets there, there is a litany of the word "putas" to refer to women. The translation of "puta" is more accurately "prostitute" and NOT "b*tch" as the film subtitles. The subtitles could have been better for other words as well, but the "puta" bad translation was the most important. When Rambo is captured, one of the Mexican sex traffickers informs Rambo that these women "are NOT people. They are things". And, he is informed by another that his niece was a "nothing puta" before Rambo came along, but his presence flagged her for more torture. These statements about women typify the very long-standing, culturally entrenched machismo of Mexico, and these attitudes can proliferate unchecked in sex trafficking contexts, even as they exist in their society at-large. This Last Blood movie "hollywood-ified" sex traffickers in terms of appearance. Upon investigation, they often used Spaniard (NOT Mexican) actors, which do NOT typify what Mexican sex traffickers usually look like. They're definitely better looking here! Hollywood does not seem to want even its villains to be ugly. You have to like graphic depictions of vengeance-inspired violence to like this movie. If you do, then Rambo delivers some beautiful deaths, all while looking like he has some severe glaucoma. Sly Stallone also has nostalgia down to a science. The ending montage demonstrates that, and hits all the right spots for audiences in need of the sincerity of a true hero.

Not my favorite Rambo movie but definitely one for my collection. Great entertainment value, nevertheless.

The film was fun to watch, though I was sad when the girl died. I figured she would survive.

日本語の字幕はありません。 ストーリーが単純なので英語の分からない私でも理解できます。 殴られて顔が腫れ上がったランボーが異常な速さで回復するのが、 ちょっと納得できません。（ロッキーの試合後のようです。） 別にランボーじゃなくても良かったのではという内容です。 でもシルベスター・スタローンのファンなので星５つにします。 スカッとはしますよ！！

It just seemed like it was personally a good way to end the character living too long and still knowing that he still has a lot of weight and intelligence besides muscle smarts the movie arrived three weeks before the date too good

日本での映画上映がなかなか実現されなず、どうしても観たかったので、思い切って海外ブルーレイを購入 日本語字幕あり、という説明表示にかすかな期待をしつつ、再生、やはり甘くフランス語吹き替えかフランス語 字幕付きでした。結果英語字幕なしで鑑賞。好きこそものの上手なれとよく言いますが、字幕なしでも 手に取るように話している内容が分かり普通に鑑賞できました。それだけストーリーはわかりやすいです。 音はドルビーアトモスで、臨場感をしっかり保ちつつそれでいて聞きやすい最高でした。 物語はオールドランボーがとにかく強いです。ランボーシリーズのファンの一人として納得の作品です。

Despedida del personaje creado por David Morrell y que dio pie a una trilogía que marcó a fuego la carrera de Sylvester Stallone. Años después se produjo John Rambo, 4 entrega que destaca por una brutal contundencia, una brutalidad cercana al gore más desatado. Esta 5a parte quizá pueda parecer un añadido innecesario, pero Stallone sabe lo que se trae entre manos y Rambo, convertido en un apacible granjero, retoma las armas para recuperar y luego vengar a su ahijada. El nivel de salvajismo se mantiene, como también la convicción de un actor que sabe darle la despedida adecuada al personaje, pese a ciertas lecturas políticas que deben cogerse con pinzas.
