One of the Best books I've read!
This is the second book I have purchased by Debora Coty. I bought "More Beauty Less Beast" in 2012 but just now read it in December of 2013. I loved that one so much that I had to see what else she had to offer. In "Too Blessed to be Stressed", and "More Beauty Less Beast", Debora makes you feel like you've known her for years. It's almost like she is allowing you to read her diary or journal. She adds humor to those things that, at the moment, are almost devistating. The way she describes some of her "mishaps" have made me just crack up! She teaches you to see God in everything....and that's one thing I had stopped doing. This book is a great reminder of that.Reading these two books, "More Beauty, Less Beast" and "Too Blessed to be Stressed" has been so refreshing. I've done many bible studies and have read countless devotion books over the years. I've even studied very in depth Christian material. But I have to say that reading these books has been the extra push I needed to get me out of a really long "spiritual dry spell". Reading this book along with the Bible, praying, and having someone praying for me is a wonderful combination. If you're not ready to laugh and make a little fun of yourself, you may not like this book. Since I have read it, I have recommended it to all my friends. God bless Debora for her obedience. Well done!

Great liitle book, full of practical wisdom presented in a light and humorous manner!
As a Family Life Pastor, I purchased this little book as a "THANK YOU" gift for two ladies retiring after years of volunteer service in our church. The book was so well written and so much loved, one of the ladies has since used it as the primary book being used in a new "Life Group" for MOMS with younger children. Well received and highly valued by all the group participants!

Humor meets Therapy - great combination!
Coty has managed to turn therapeutic strategies of stress reduction into bite-sized nuggets of easily digestible activities. Seasoned with plenty of humor, this book is a must read. As an occupational therapist, Coty's strategies are not just wistful thinking; one would pay several hundred dollars for the cognitive behavioral sessions outlined in this book. Also, because Coty's principals are Biblically-based, I can trust her advise to build me up as the reader.

Darth Wader and Other Delights
Debora Coty has outdone herself on this guide combining humor, valuable tips for managing stress backed by her own professional experience, and a kaleioscope of experiences shared. I was drawn to each of her humorous titles, which left me giggling late into the night: Darth Wader; Cheesecake: Not Just for Breakfast anymore; Gray, the New Blonde; Latitude for Gratitude. Love this book! It's a great gift for any woman.

Too Blessed to be Stressed
I love the layout of this book! The author has four sections where she shares her stress relief.-Time Management-Develop a Sense of Humor-Cultivate Relationships-Focus on FaithThere is a scripture verse for each chapter with a closing quote from various people. There is a time for reflection in her "Let's Decom-Stress." This makes for a great devotional, small group study, or one-on-one mentoring.I did find two chapters to be a bit offensive and felt the author had a lack of experience on the topic she was writing. The chapter on Nutrition I could spend hours on how much I don't like this chapter. I felt the opening verse was taken out of context! Yes, I did look it up in four other versions! George Bernard Shaw's quote at the end of the chapter was way off and totally offensive! This whole chapter needs to be removed or rewritten! The chapter on Physical Maintenance I felt that once she stated she was "going to be technical" she no longer talked "to us" but "at us." Physical Maintenance has not much to do with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tennis Elbow or Golfers Elbow. Physical Maintenance isn't just simple stretching exercises. For this reason I will give this book a three star rating. I did recieve a free book for review from Litfuse.
