The Best Oculus Touch Controller Grips
I'm in a good position to review the AMVR Touch Controller Grips having spent the last few months using the competing product, Mamut's Touch Controller Grips. While I am a big fan of Mamut's product, AMVR's in this case, is superior in a number of ways. First & foremost, the ergonomics are better, the Mamuts fit my hands well but the AMVR grips have a more comfortable contour, particularly the lower half near the cinch point for the straps. Speaking of the straps, the main reason I wanted to give these a try, the elastic one piece strap vs. the double shoestring style of the Mamuts work MUCH better, they don't slip around once on unlike the Mamuts so you don't feel the need to constantly adjust them during use which is a major plus. Comfort is noticeably better as well. Additionally, there are 3 slots for various hand-sizes to choose from when installing the straps. The cinch point mechanism for tightening/loosening the straps is also captive, unlike the Mamuts... a minor point but worth mentioning. It's just a more well thought out & executed product in my firm opinion. Value - w/ the AMVR grips you get two sets of straps, a red/blue pair & black pair. Also included are additional velcro straps for securing the top of the grip to the Touch Controller ring. In all likelihood you'll never need them but it's a nice addition & another example of AMVR going above & beyond to look out for the customer. Another cool value add is their lense shield for use when transporting your Quest or Rift S, it's well made & cost $10 or so separately. Also included is their silicone nose piece which effectively blocks 95% of the light-bleed from around the nose area on the Quest (I love it as it helps w/ immersion). Price - these are considerably less pricey than the $37.95 Mamut grips. Speed of delivery - I realize demand is high & supply is a bit tight as AMVR ramps up their product supply chain but if you keep an eye on the Amazon listing, you'll find them available every week or so (currently listed as out of stock & unavailable but give it a few days & they'll be available again). As for the Mamuts, availability is better now than when I got them but they ship from Sweden if I remember correctly & took 3 or so weeks to arrive. All that being said, not trying to hate on the Mamuts, they make a solid offering but the AMVR grips are the better & smarter buy in ever way. In closing, even if you could order the Mamuts today vs. waiting a week or so for the opportunity to order the AMVR grips... I'd wait & order the better product.

A great way to improve your VR experience!
I've been using the AMVR Touch Controller Grip Cover for a few weeks now, and I'm very impressed with it. It's a great way to improve your VR experience by making it more comfortable and immersive. The grip cover is made from a soft, rubberized material that provides a better grip on the controller. This is especially helpful for games that require a lot of hand movement, such as Beat Saber or Half-Life: Alyx. The grip cover also has a built-in knuckle strap that helps to keep the controller in place. This is great for games where you need to make quick movements, such as in VR shooters. In addition to being comfortable and functional, the grip cover also looks great. It comes in a variety of colors to match your VR headset, and it has a stylish design that makes it look like it belongs on the controller. Overall, I highly recommend the AMVR Touch Controller Grip Cover. It's a great way to improve your VR experience and make it more enjoyable. Pros: Comfortable and provides a better grip on the controller Built-in knuckle strap keeps the controller in place Looks great and comes in a variety of colors Affordable Cons: None that I can find Overall: The AMVR Touch Controller Grip Cover is a great value for the price. It's comfortable, functional, and looks great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their VR experience.

Great Product!! Only 1 Issue
I want to give this a 5, I really do. But there’s just 1 thing it needs...a loop guard. If you have a quest, you NEED something that keeps your controllers in your hand so you don’t keep dropping them by accident. There are a bund of games where it appears that your hands need to be spread open. Without any sort of attachment, you might get so Immersed and accidentally drop the controller. These grips provide a consistent tether to your hands and controllers while providing a comfortable holding position for the rest of your palm. Pros: - great grip and great protection for lower half of controller - keeps controllers in your hand, even when you let it go - comfortable to holds, feels more natural than stock controller - easy set up, watch the video once and you’ll be able to set it up quickly - easy set up allows easy battery replacement!!! That was a huge thing I wanted to look for when buying one of these. You can take the grip off, put in new batteries, and put the grip on in about 2 minutes total. Nice and easy design! Con: - the ONLY thing wrong is that it needs to have a loop guard for the controller! I understand you can buy those separately from a different manufacturer, but why not include it in this deal? It’s already a “controller guard” why not guard the entire controller? I say this because numerous times, I’ve accidentally hit the wall with the controller loop by going outside the boundary. If you have a headset and not a “ton” of room, this will happen to you too. Also, anyone inexperienced could accidentally smack the controllers together on the loop. Within a month of using the Quest 2, my wife hit the controller so hard against the other one that it left a permanent mark on it. My possible solution to this problem is including a peelable adhesive with some sort of cushion on the other side that you would wrap around the loop of the controller. The price might go up a dollar or 2, but to have the controller fully protected, I’d definitely say it’s worth it. Overall, these are GREAT hand grips. If you are getting these, I’d advise you to look into getting the controller loop protected from somewhere else as well.

Vastly superior to Kiwi knuckle straps
BLUF: I tried this and Kiwi's as affordable knuckle-style controller straps. These were a better fit and better value. Highly recommended as the sweet spot of price to performance as of Feb 2020. PROS: -Straps are adjustable to hand size. S-M-L. -Design holds the controller in the right position in my palm so my thumbs and fingers easily reach the trigger and buttons (Not the case with Kiwi knuckle straps). -Set includes red, blue, and 2 black straps. I found color coding my right controller (red) and left (blue) was convenient. -Straps have an additional silicone material on the inside for additional grip to my hand, feels very secure. -Strap tension system is adjustable one-handed (Not the case with Kiwi knuckle strips). -Strap design permits using the OEM wrist straps. When I want a free hand, I can let the controller dangle. -TPU cup adds to controller size (length and width). Fills my hand better. CONS: -TPU cup adds to controller size (length and width). Won't fit in most travel cases now. -The design of the TPU cup and velcro strap is inconvenient for battery swaps (Kiwi was superior in this regard). -Set includes a silicone nose gasket (?) or flap (?) that helps reduce light bleed around the nose. I was not able to make it work with the OEM interface. Maybe it's designed for AMVR's interface?

Best grips on the market and fit my quest 2 controllers perfectly!
I purchased these twice. Once for my original Oculus quest, and then now again for my Oculus quest 2 setup. Even though it says it's for the quest one they fit my quest to controllers perfectly fine. But purchase at your own discretion I don't want you to be mad at me if you don't feel the same way as I do. But we know how it is when you purchase things for a new device sometimes it's the same parts and they just up the price a little just due to the fact it's a newer product. I took the chance and for me it worked out perfectly. These grips are in my opinion the best purchase for any quest setup. They come with extra straps they come with good quality parts, the grips feel great, and they make the controller a way more comfortable gameplay. And the best part is they come with a free gift they come with a lens protector that's not that soft foam but of a harder quality and soft texture outside not to scratch the lenses. Like I said it's in my own opinion that they fit the quest to controllers perfectly fine but go on your own accord and make the leap and purchase these for your quest to as well. Don't know how much different your quest grips and quest controls can be for mine. Lol These are hands down the best grips on the market.

Good affordable grips
This is a good affordable grip. The best feature are the straps that allow you to play more freely. You can do throwing motions with confidence. The straps are soft and stretchy. They hug around your hand which makes it comfortable and secure. I like how they come in other colors so you can color code for each hand. The excess strap can be rolled up and rubber banded if you don't want to cut it. The vr headset graphics on the strap are tacky. I would have preferred some kind of pattern instead. The grip is comfortable with a nice smooth texture while being durable. The controllers fit inside snug and fit. You can still use the safety strap that came with your controllers. Ergonomics is good but not perfect. My nit picks are the ring and pinky finger imprints don't align with my grip. It would have been better without it. The location of the S,M,L slits could also impede your thumb while you feel around for the thumbstick. You can slightly twist it out the way a little if that bothers you. Don't get me wrong, these are just minor nit picks! The grip is really comfortable and I'm definitely going to keep using them. The only extra accessory that is useful is the lens cover. It fits perfectly, just make sure you put it on correctly. The proximity sensor should not be covered by it. Don't bother with the nose pad, it doesn't block much light unless you have a large nose. The flaps are not long enough. You might as well get a face cover with a built-in nose flap if that's what you're going for. Would I recommend the AMVR grip? Yes of course. I believe these are the best affordable grips out there. It's probably not worth the extra cost for the more premium grips. These work just fine.

THIS IS A MUST BUY!
I have a Quest 2 and these fit and work great! This is the closest index controller imitation that I've ever used! I have 2 complaints: 1, when it sits in my ungripped hand loosely, then angle feels really really off. Like it's pointing way more "inward". I believe this is due to the placement of where the strap sits. 2, Upon initial insertion of the strap into the spring buckle, the ends fray a LOT! This is ugly and I feel like it will disintegrate faster. Sure you can take a lighter to it and seal the ends, but I feel like I shouldnt need to do that when I haven't even cut the ends of the strap yet. Now on to the good things! The lens protector is awesome, I'm very happy for that. And they give you a lot of things with the straps! It comes with 2 sets of straps so if you completely disintegrate one set, you'll have 2 more you can use. And the main reason you're probably looking to buy these things is grip security! The feeling I get when using these things are a world of difference from the stock lanyard only attachment point. When I'm playing beatsaber and my grip starts to loosen, I'm not nearly as distracted and I don't feel like I need to correct the grip less my controllers fly out of my hand and destroy something. The same goes for when throwing objects, like grenades or tossing literally anything. Due to the way the "touch controller" has capacitive surfaces, it always feels awkward when throwing objects as you have to still hold onto the controller. Not so with these grip covers! Throw like you would IRL and it will happen properly in VR thanks to the unique attachment point! Definitely recommend these as a must to anyone who wants more immersion and a sense of security when using the controllers in intense gaming sessions.

Quest2 = Works, but not quite. Not sorry I purchased though
I like the grips product but I can tell they really weren't made for the Quest 2. The TPU material is much harder than I was expecting. I was thinking it would closer to silicone and stretchable. It's actually pretty stiff. Which can lead to some issues because the handle of the Quest 2 controllers is thicker than the Quest so you really have to push it in to get them on and even then there is around a 5mm gap between the bottom of the controller and the bottom of the cover. Not looking forward to the first time I need to remove them to replace the batteries. I also had to push so hard to get them on I was a bit concerned about the stress being put on the battery cover but no apparent damage (i.e. cracking sounds) occurred. I will say that once on, I really like them. I had some Kiwi velcro straps on the controllers before. Although they were fairly comfortable, my palm extends below the base of the controller and made the fit not ideal. Because the AMVR grip doesn't seat all the way up on the handle and the strap connection point is even further down, the fit is great. I also really like that the inside of the strap has a line of grippy rubber to help keep the controller in place without having to tighten the strap too much. The included nose pad doesn't really fit. I couldn't get my foam cover snapped back into place fully so I've ditched it. The lens cover also doesn't fit the Quest2. I consider those "bonus" items though so I'm not going to ding the review too much but wanted to point it out here. Pros: Comfortable grip Grippy lining on the inside of the strap Extends base down for larger hands Cons: Too tight to fully fit on the controller Grip material is harder than expected and doesn't have much flex Included "extras" don't fit Quest 2
