Really pleased with this light. I bought it for my summer house, with the solar panel mounted separately on the roof so it gets plenty of sunlight. Installation was straightforward and only took a few minutes. It just needed a couple of screws, and because it's solar-powered there was no need to run cables or hire an electrician. The light output is excellent – much brighter than I expected – and the unit itself feels sturdy and well made, unlike some of the cheaper solar lights I've tried before. I also like that you can choose between different operating modes, including motion sensor, dusk-to-dawn, or a combination of both, depending on what you need. So far it's been working brilliantly. I'm already thinking of buying a few more for other areas of the garden, and it'll be interesting to see how well they perform over the winter.

I bought this to replace my previous soar lights, which were just on the ground. They very rapidly stopped working because of the humidity. These ones I was expecting to be slightly bigger. However, they are quite small. That, in my opinion, is a good thing. The small size of the lights let them be installed in various places, not necessarily on the wall of the building. I actually installed them on the fence and they look and work perfectly. There are three modes of sensing, permanent dimmed light, dimmed and switching to brighter when movement is detected and normal switch-on when movement is detected. These are quite easy to switch even without reading through the manual. The only change I would suggest the product is related to fixing. These light are fixed with two screws each and anchors. Actually the lights are so small and light that something like Gorilla adhesive tape would work much better. No need to drill or srew anything and easy to reach. Overall well satisfied with the product.

Pretty good lights. Brightest I’ve had to date. Used hard as nails to attach to my wall. They didn’t stay up in the area where there was no shelter due to the rain but once relocated. They were perfect. instructions for the light settings wasn’t great But I managed to figure it out. Wish once motion was detected that they would stay on a little longer. My little Yorkie managed to set off the lotion detectors which is perfect and just what I wanted in order that I could find him at night as he likes to hide. You’d need more then 4 for a very large garden. My garden is 50ft and I’d like 4 more for the other end. Value fir money and I’d recommend If you found this review helpful please click below. Thanks

Had it on my back garden for few days it’s good light for small lamp.

Just thumbing through my Amazon reviews and thought I'd up date this. Originally bought on the 1st August 2021. It's now 25th Feb 2026 and they're still working well. No loss of LED's, charging well, no problem. Super impressed

I bought these to put along my driveway as I didn’t have the money to install properly wired lights. I was dubious about the solar panel charging but so far I am really pleased with them. We have had a few bright days but also a few cloudy days, but they haven’t lost charge yet. They were easy to install and to set up. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. The kit includes screws and plugs so you can screw into a fence or brickwork. The lights come in a pack of 4 and are IP65 waterproof. They have 3 modes: dim sensor/ bright sensor/ always on. They are bright, with a good pick-up distance and angle on the sensor. The angle of throw on the light is good too, lighting up a wide angle arc.

I had purchased the four pack one and was so impressed with this 4 pack. Easy to install (two screws) and they do not need power supply. Charge during the day and have a bright light when activated at night. They look really smart and throw out a lot of light. Would highly recommend if you need lighting and you don't want to go to the expense of getting an electrician to add these for you. Different settings so you can either have content dusk till dawn or have it motion controlled. Or the mixture of both! Really impressed. Small and mighty light fixtures!

I believe mine came pre-charged. Either that, or it charged in indirect light when I had it unboxed. I like that, and its brightness level! Also nice is that both the (sensor) Solar Panel and the Light Fixture - 2 different entities, can each sit - like on a shelf, or the mounting plates can affix either, say, to a wall / side of the house. <I plan on determining where the sensor Panel would receive the most and/or strongest sunlight outside AND (obviously) the cable length is within its distance, said to be 5M, AND where it would enable the light to be where it's needed / best used inside. Another potential consideration is what house wall can best be drilled, to enable the Solar Panel to be outside, and the Light Fixture to be inside. I have a Fireplace along 1 wall that negates that position. Windows, w/ their wide wall support surrounding them, air vents and their ductwork limit some positions, and 1 of 3 Lighting Modes that doesn't use motion to trigger the Light to come on. (The Dusk to Dawn mode). So, because the Light Fixture and its Solar Panel is connected by a wire, you are limited by that, and other factors, like where you would prefer the light. Would you like it to come on whenever somebody comes within range (5M-8M) of your front door, or maybe inside your garage, my choice, to come on for 20 seconds when there's motion (either I come home, or I'm in the garage working.) Currently, my Garage Door Opener has a light that stays on, wasting electricity, unless I turn it off, AFTER the garage door closes. - Requiring me to wait at my garage to kitchen entry, for the garage door to close each time, to be able to turn it off. But I may try turning that off, and having this amazon light serve that short-term-on purpose. (Because, if nobody is paying for the electricity, who cares if I waste it? After all, the sun will be shining, most days, whether or not I "collect" its rays.) Note, User Manual says performance of the solar lamp may vary w/ the time of year. AND under "Charging the Battery", it's best to install it in full sunlight and let it charge 8 hours. Also, allow it to run 8-12 entire charging and discharging cycles to reach the max. battery capacity. I installed it today on the back of my house, and LOVE how it works, (once I understood why it wasn't coming on - I first thought the battery wasn't charged yet. But turns out, I was installing it during the last part of the day when the sun wasn't yet down, and it's built to stay off, until it's dark)! Once dark outside, on the setting I had it on, as soon as it detects motion, it came on! The only minor issue I had was w/ the 4 supplied screws and those plastic inserts for them. They're junk and the plastic inserts wouldn't withstand my light hammering to get them into the holes I drilled. So I quickly threw them away, and used some deck screws - rated for the outdoor, with a cordless impact driver. Just don't go too tight, as the light mounts are just plastic. Love the light and the free (sun) energy. Thanks to God.
