Created by a physician Dr. Browns Natural Flow baby bottles feature a patented internal vent system that helps reduce colic spit-up burping and gas. The positive pressure design allows babies to feed comfortably because the vent system eliminates the air bubbles and vacuum. All parts are dishwaher safe. Two replacement silicone nipples exclusively for Dr. Browns Natural Flow Standard baby bottles. Premie Nipples are ideal for feeding premature infants. Review: Our little one was born a month early and has had a few small issues with feeding. He has a hard time keeping up with flow, either from breastfeeding or expressed breastmilk through a bottle. He has to gulp quickly in order to keep up, which results in him swallowing air and spitting up and/or upset and fussy. He always sounds like he’s drowning, gurgling, choking, etc. I’ve tried countless “slow flow” and preemie bottles/nipples, but they all still drown him. These are some of the best we’ve gotten so far, though they still are a little too fast for him and we have to do paced feeds. I just found out they make an Ultra Preemie version as well, which is on the way. I’m hoping that works even better. Still, these are great so far and I’m sure they’ll work better for us as he matures and can handle a faster flow, at least until he graduates to the standard/regular flow nipples. *Of note, if you’re truly in need of a slow-flow option, try Bionix. It’s expensive but is the only bottle he can take without drowning and excessive discomfort. Review: I tried so many different bottles and they all claimed to come with "slow flow" nipples. Well, let me tell you, none of them are truly slow enough for a newborn baby. My baby was 2 weeks old when we introduced a bottle for her late night feeding. Well, every bottle/nipple we used would still cause her to suck in too much milk and she would choke and cough. It wasn't until we found Dr. Brown's preemie nipples that she was able to drink a bottle without taking in too much milk and coughing. So we bought these and the Dr. Brown's glass bottles and we love them. For those of you breast feeding moms who are worried about nipple confusion like I was, these bottles and nipples did not cause any nipple confusion at all. My baby goes back and fourth between these nipples and my breast without a problem. I do make sure though that the majority of her feedings come from the breast. I only give 2 to 3 bottles in a day because I want to ensure she doesn't start preferring the bottle over breast.

I purchased this product because it described it as a slow flow, however, my preemie baby boy was spitting out milk while using this nipple. I give this product 4 stars because it was really hard to find this nipple in stores such as Target & Walmart. My preemie is in the NICU & the nurses there recommended to get a preemie nipple thats slow flow so my baby would have the ability to control the milk flow. I’m guessing it’s how the baby can get used to the nipple but I do recommend this preemie nipple to all 1st time preemie parents.

After birth my milk was late that i had to pump and after using another brand that claiming having slow flow my baby refused lactating and i was going back and forth with her to lactation specialists and one of them recommended this brand for me! After using this for one week My baby now started nursing again she still prefer the bottle but i have hope now that with time and practice it will work. So if you want to keep nursing your baby this one is a great option

This is great for tired new parents who either have a premature baby they now have at home or alternatively have a full term baby they are pumping breast milk for and making every attempt to not get the baby used to and craving the high flow experience of most nipples on the market. Really eliminates your need to have skill at doing paced bottle feeds. With these you can just feed your newborn as you would expect to feed them with a bottle - put bottle in mouth and let them suck on milk rather than having to remove the bottle every few sucks or having to keep the nipple half filled with milk.
