The Teachings of Abraham: The Master Course CD Program, 11-CD set

If you're a fan of the Abraham-Hicks works, you will love this CD set. If you're new to their work, let me give you a little background. Ester Hicks channels a group of entities called Abraham, which means these entities speak through her. Some time ago, she and her husband had become interested in meditation, and because she has a quiet mind naturally, they (the group called Abraham) were eventually able to communicate through her. At first they actually moved her head, and were writing with her nose. If you're interested in more of their history I recommend Introducing Abraham - The Secret Behind "The Secret" . Abraham is surprisingly funny. They focus a lot on love, attraction and manifestation. They give the example that you get a big American Express bill in the mail, and you say "I need more money." And the universe says "okay." But then you go on to say, "I don't have enough money to pay this bill. The people next door have more money than I do. They probably inherited it, those lazy bums." And as you continue to beat the drum of "I don't have..." The universe says, "Okay" to that too. So it is very important to control our thoughts, as the universe will send us what we ask for. Abraham explains how, the better it gets, the better it gets. Because when things are going well, we expect them to continue to go well. This expectation creates what they call "a vibrational escrow" because what we ask the universe for does have a delay in time, hence the escrow. So every thought and feeling we have builds this escrow for us. One way to repeat a success or a positive experience is to remember how it felt, because that reactivates the vibration. They do talk about the concept of living in the moment, and say it is okay to think about the past, and the future. The important thing to remember is the thoughts we're having right now, whatever they are, are creating our escrow, so hopefully they are positive ones. On relationships, Abraham explains how you need to focus on what you like about the person, even if it is only one thing, not the numerous things you would like to change about that person. Because by focusing on what you like about that person will cause only that aspect to manifest, not the other areas (which actually are things that we are attracting too). This particular CD set was recorded on an Alaskan cruise, where they bring along students, and they get to sit in the "hot seat" and ask questions of Abraham. If you're looking for specific practical answers, like what herbs to take cure to a specific disease, that is not Abraham's way. But Abraham does give lots of loving, sometimes humorous advice that reminds us that we are masters of our own destinies.

Esther Hicks channels a group of entities who call themselves "Abraham". She is answering questions that come up from the attendees. It is quick, bright, interesting, profound, funny and to-the-point. There isn't one subject they forgot to cover! Esther speaks very quickly when channeling Abraham, so buckle up for a long drive to anywhere and turn this on. You will listen to it over and over again, and learn something new about yourself every single time!!! Money very well spent!!!!

You will need to have a note book to take notes down. I would stop it, take some notes and start again. Really nice that way. It takes a while to hear all they have to say, so I made it a special time to hear the tapes. Such great information for living a good life and getting all you can out of life. Tells you how to get over your hardships and live a happy life. The Teachings of Abraham is like having the hand of God to guide you. Loved the Cd and everyone should order them and hear this great message. This would make a great birthday gift or Christmas gift. So glad I got them and I hear them over and over, getting more out of them each time. They are a great blessing.

If you can maintain a willing suspension of disbelief when it comes to the whole channelling business with Esther and Abraham you will benefit greatly from listening to this. (Another strategy is to see it as a literary device that imbues the Hicks' material with some spiritual ballast.) In a very lively, and even humorous way, Esther Hicks blends the laws of attraction with Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (aka CBT) into a seamless template for living your best life. The philosophy, techniques, and real-life examples are engaging and identifying with them is easy. (If you have listened to early CDs by Esther Hicks you may have found her intonation and accent a bit unusual. All that has changed for this recording, which makes it clearer and more seamless.)

I thoroughly enjoy the teachings of Abraham, sometimes I am uncomfortable with what appears to be yelling on the part of Esther Hicks translation. This is a good recording and if you even feel curious I would check it out. Just remember we all have our own direction we all have our own minds and we all follow our own soul. If something that you hear in these teachings doesn't resonate with you that doesn't mean that you're wrong. I look at it this way, this is all Esther Hicks interpretation of the information and she's getting from , Collective conscience known as Abraham and maybe her interpretation of what she's being told and someone else's may not be exactly the same thing.

Hi, I am still listening to these, there are many, so at home, in the car, I believe these were from 2005, but really, all of them are good. I have not found one yet that was disappointing. do as I did, read the reviews, form your own opinion. I am not sorry I ordered this one, lots of CDs, I think 11 and I just started listening to them. Lots of content, and I will listen more than once, I take away something each time. For a new listener, sometimes these can be a bit deep, at least to me, so if you can borrow or rent one, do that and see what you think. I get it now, thankfully, and feel so much better. Topics discussed on these CDs hit home, at least some of them. I have learned to much. I hope you found this review helpful, thank you

Absolutely wonderful. !! I have listened to all the cd's and find them so inspirational Esther gives such clear guidance on how to achieve everything you ever wanted in your life , through these wonderful teachings. I lwould thoroughly recommend them and am so happy to have discovered these simple techniques that can really change your outlook on life A pleasure to listen to :) Worth every penny !!!

Life changing book

Love these teachings! For all who want to go deeper in the work of Abraham and Esther Hicks. The laws of the universe explaned in a (even more!) clear, understandable way. For "beginners" als for "advanced" students of Law of Atttraction. I highly recommend this CDs!!!!

Esther Hicks, channelling a collective spiritual entity known as Abraham, is often very, very funny. This is a really different take on spiritual development - a kind of wisdom for a material age - because so much of the discussion is about how to get what you want. If that is in any way offensive to you - if you think the focus too materialistic - I encourage you to listen deeply, because there are profound spiritual gems hidden in this material. The fundamental lesson is that the only really important connection, and the one that will give you everything you want, is the connection with your deeper self that Abraham calls Source energy. This is the same teaching that we have from all the spiritual masters of all ages. Listen to this stuff. It will blow your mind! I strongly recommend this disc series for anyone looking for peace and happiness. Also consider reading their books "Ask and it is given", and the most recent one, "The Vortex". I think it safe to say that, along with my other spiritual practices, this material has really changed my life.
