This is a very lightweight but sturdy boat hook. There are two telescoping sections which extend it from 1 to 3 ft. The locking clips while plastic, are very strong and durable. I'm using it for my 21' pontoon boat and am very satisfied with it

Its nice light weight. I use it for my Truck to pull the stuffs from the trunk. Nice and strong. Just the top part gets untwist. And wished it was little longer

I got this to take in our canoe when we go paddling. It is small (when collapsed), lightweight, and very handy to help grab hold of the dock when approaching your take out spot. Also, it is good for handing something the length of the boat like, for instance, from the stern position to the bow position. Or just to poke your wife in the butt.

I’ve had several kind of homemade boat hooks one of which I snapped last year trying to get the boat to the dock in the wind. I ordered this expandable easy to store. And very sturdy made a number of landings this summer with the help of a boat hook on the dock and it worked perfectly great product.

Great for the price but not for salt water use fantastic for the first month but after that the pivot pin for the plastic latches rusted and locked up hard as to not allow locking or unlocking 50 cents more for the manufacturer to use a stainless steel steel pin and this thing would be perfect was my favorite boat hook too bad !

The boat hook doesn't stay firm when you are using it to guide the boat in/out of the pier.

I purchased this to help with putting my Christmas lights on my roofline and my trees. It comes in at a lower cost than the other "utility" poles I was looking at and the hook at the end is perfect for my roofline system (I've strung my lights to PVC pipes with hooks that go on my eve and gutters, and the pipe fits perfectly in the hook!). It extends all the way to the top of my roof and is as sturdy as it can be, being made out of aluminum and as light as it is. It locks down very positively with latches instead of the threaded, twist locks most extending poles come with. I love my boat hook!!

It’s exactly as described. Only pitfall is the hook is marking. Wish it was softer and non marking when pushing off other boats in the marina.

Ad gives the impression that this tool is much longer than it is. Beware!

This is my favourite painting tool. Used it for painting 18 foot walls. It is lightweight, easy to control and quick and easy for extending. No twisting the poles to lock just a lever to unlock, extend the pole and flip the lever and you're locked ready to use. Have had it for a short time and used it for rolling paint, cleaning blades on a ceiling fan on very high ceiling and knocked down a small hornets nest on the peak of my house. Metal threads on it for the attachments are far less to wear than plastic thread. Most highly recommend this item.
