Better than I'd hoped!
I was a bit trepidatious about using this but had to try something as I needed to remove the dark purple colour I had put on my dark blonde with grey hair. I had also built up quite a few layers of other colours underneath. It's not difficult to use but it is a bit of a faff. (To be fair that is probably true of colour removers in general!) It recommends reading the instructions twice before you start and I would definitely echo that. The main stuff is a bit smelly but not at all unbearable (and I am very sensitive to smells) but the other lotions and potions smell quite pleasant. One thing that was surprising was that when I washed off the colour remover part I expected the water to run quite murky but it was totally clear. Slight panic at that point in case it hadn't worked! When the moment of truth arrived at the end of the process I was actually amazed - there was no sign of the purple or other colours left in my hair. It was totally back to normal, albeit an awful lot greyer than I remembered! This wasn't as expensive as some of the colour removers but it seems to have worked really well and the smell isn't too bad. I would definitely buy it again.

Be warned! Chemical burns in your throat and nose
I never leave reviews but this was so bad I needed to write one!! Do not waste your money! I have used hair colour remover before and this brand is awful! 1 it dose not work. 2 the smell is that bad it lingers in your hair. I have chemical burns from the smell in my nose and throat! I can deal with smells I have a child and animals but this was so bad I am disgusted. This company is a shambles to even sell products like this. Don’t waste your money! It’s full of chemicals that burn your nose and throat yet dos nothing to change your hair! Dangerous and shocking product.

Great product
Worked so well for colour build up. I had a dark ring a few inches away from the roots and it’s all gone after one application.

Kinda works depending on what colour you are and want to remove
I have used this product four times over the past few years to remove dark brown build up from long hair and for this is works very well. It does not damage your hair and the colour disappears. When you wash it out it is completely clear so no idea where it goes! You must follow the instructions to the letter. The last time I used it, it was less effective (purchased from Amazon) so I tried again (purchased elsewhere) and it worked so not sure if the Amazon stock is old perhaps? Anyway, as other reviewers have stated the smell is terrible but having just had a bout of COVID, it was an issue for everyone else but not me! Make sure you select the correct one for what you are trying to do as there are two varieties. Also, if you have used a colour that has changed your natural hair, it won't remedy that. It will only remove the colour so you might end up a shade that is not exactly what you expect.

Didn't have the wonderful experience some reviewers have had
I have found Scott Cornwall products to be hit or miss. I used the regular Decolour remover without bleaching agents, and it wasn't great. I thought I would try this pared-down version (no buffer or clarifying sachets for completing the process). I watched about a dozen videos on this and saw people get jaw-dropping results. I have had a permanent box color for less than 1 month, and it's just a medium ash blonde over pre-lightened hair. I followed the directions, mixed the products together well with my tint brush, and applied them carefully, saturating all the hair. To be honest, it smells, but not as bad as some, but there is a deceptive after-effect, which you'll get to. I left it the required time with a plastic cap on and applying some gentle heat. I used a clear clarifying shampoo for at least 10 to 20 minutes. Very little greenish brown came out, almost unnoticeable. I have had better with leaving dandruff shampoo on under a plastic cap. I scrubbed and scrubbed til my scarf felt a bit fed up with the washes and hot water. I didn't want any pigment to reoxidse so I really gave it my all. The bathroom smelt badly but my hair! Woe it still smells after a week and more than 10 washings. When it gets damp, it is as if the smell surfaces again. I can smell it on my pillow case. The second day, hoping maybe more washings would help even though it had been several hours, I went again to hopefully avoid reoxidisation. Nothing came out. I sat with dandruff shampoo under a cap and that did help yield a bit of colour down the drain. Even though I was very thorough, used a strong clear clarifying shampoo, and scrubbed the he'll outta my hair with the hottest water I could manage, it just didn't do much. I have two more rounds worth of sachets. Not sure if I want to try again. I have green tinged white hair that the declour remover helped to expose. A temp colour had a green/yellow ash base and that seems to have stained the cuticle. Argh. Violet base colour, here we come. I hope it works for you as well as it did for several gals on YouTube. For me, I'll stick with the ProVoke kit as that has worked a better and even as a single treatment, the buffer you get is more than enough and gentle.
