Apple iBin Pro
This is the perfect bin for minimalists. It looks sleek and operates well. I would believe you if you told me Jony Ive and Steve Jobs themselves designed it, and you bought it from the Apple Store. Glancing at the bin when I walk past it brings me joy. One downside to the visual is that the bin liner is always visible. It would be improved if there could be a way to hide the bin liner from view, so the sleek look is uninterrupted. The slow closing mechanism really gives it a premium feel that matches its premium-feeling materials and heft. It does not have any extra, unnecessary features. It has a pedal that opens the lid, and an interior bin compartment that can be taken out for practical purposes. It is exactly what it needs to be.I was worried that as a one-person household, the 30L bin would be too small. But it is the perfect size. It took me over a week to fill it up. I think it would be suitable for two people as well. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Good quality -
I never knew that buying a kitchen bin was such a minefield! I knew what size I wanted and researched many products from numerous sellers. After reading reviews on this particular item, I was drawn to it, not just because of the price (which was certainly cheaper than others) but because of the reviews. I would agree with the majority of the reviews - the bin does not look cheap (so do not be put off by the amazon basics 'tag'), the shape actually seems to be a space saver versus a normal circular bin, and my view is that it does look good quality and not cheap at all. The lid opens via a foot pedal, and has a slow closing lid, all of which operates well. A bonus point to me versus my old bin is that the inner compartment is plastic so can be easily washed and cleaned (my old bin inner compartment was stainless steel which has corroded over time). I am pleased with this purchase and glad I did not spend £20-£40 more on a branded name.

Best bin ever
Have had this bin a few months and can say best bin ever had. Feels like 2 bins in one as external metal case looks nice and internal plastic case holds bin liner in place. Easy to use and keep clean due to design.

Lovely bin
This bin is good and solid. I like that it has a removable insert, which makes emptying the bin a bit easier. I like that it has a soft/slow close. It's not as big as I thought it would have been or as I would like, but it's okay for my sized kitchen. I'd recommend that if you've got a bigger kitchen or a larger family, I would go for the biggest size they have as with mine it has to be emptied a little more often than I really like. It's good quality, sturdy, good pedal action, and also like it's not overly shining. It's a bit pricey, so I'm hoping that it lasts for a long time. I've also had plastic bins, so I treated myself to this one.

Great when it works
Ordered this item based purely on the previous countless excellent product reviews from customers. As such the item came with high expectations.Arrived on time and extremely well packaged. Straight out of the box the bin is clearly solid and well made. The pedal and bin lid worked well (without a bin liner) and the inner bucket is a bonus making it extremely easy to remove and replace the bags. There’s a small hole to the rear of the bucket allowing you to push any excess into it allowing for a tight fit and to hide the bag from view on the outside.Bin all set I instantly noticed that at times you have to almost stamp on the pedal to make the lid open, it’s so intermittent that I can’t work out why it’s doing it, I’ve checked the bags aren’t preventing the lid from opening and I’m finding it a little frustrating and if it continues I can see issues arising with the moving parts in the near future due to the force required to open the lid, it springs open with such force that it opens to the fullest as if you are about to remove the bag, yes the lid holds itself open if you lift it open fully, requiring you to then manually push the lid forward to allow it to close again. The whole point in buying this bin was to allow hands free contactless use due to covid 19 and at present it isn’t providing that. It’s still new and I’m hoping that perhaps it will sort itself out, I want to give it a good crack before contacting amazon again and hope I don’t need to return it.Updated.A few months in, lid was still getting stuck. If only I’d thought of reshaping the “metal” bin in the first place.Took the inner bucket out, laid it on its back, lightly stood on the front of the bin to bend it a little and bingo, it now doesn’t catch at all and hasn’t done so in the 3 weeks since bending it straight.Never though for a second that a metal bin coming in protective packaging the way this did would be out of shape.Anyways if your lid catches, try bedtime the bin into the shape it was obviously meant to be and it will work. Not the best but it now works so
