Right size for me and easy to clean.
This is the 2nd one I've purchased ... got the first one at a big box a few years ago, then stumbled on this one while I was looking for something else. You know how Amazon shows you stuff you're not looking for ...Like it cause it's the right size for the things I cook and easy to clean.

Surprisingly high quality!
I rarely write product reviews. This is the nicest, highest quality colander I have ever owned. Heavy, solid plastic...it feels almost like it's made of some sort of ceramic, resin or even enameled cast iron. When I took it out of the box it's heft surprised me. It's very attractive, too and the thought for the environment is a huge plus. I highly recommend this colander.

Fabulous made-in-USA product
I needed a new colander, and wanted one made-in-USA. This one is awesome - a sturdy weight, functional, and I love the color. It was important to me that it is non-BPA/BPS. Total win-win!

Awesome Small Colander
Since I spend a great deal of time in the kitchen, products that enhance that time are dear to me. I have a collander for bigger capacity, but it is somewhat of a drag to have to dishwash for a smaller amount of rinse or drainables. I don't like the Preserve Colander, I love it. I like the design, the shape, the material, the color...it makes me happy every time I use it because of how perfect it is...

Perfect Size But Not Round
I wanted a small strainer/ colander for draining the pasta from a box of Mac & cheese and for washing small amount of berries/ grapes. There’s only a couple options for a colander this small and I selected this one because it was metal/ mesh and that it had good drain holes all on the sides and in the bottom allow for consistent drainage & steam release. My only complaint is that this isn’t a round circle it’s oblong, almost like almond shaped so it wont fit in my kitchen sink drain.

Excellent
I wanted this for separating liquid and grains after seeing the white version on a You Tube video about milk fermentation ('kefir'). A mesh sieve does the job but is so easily damaged I decided to upgrade. Be aware the colander is oval. It’ll be a less than perfect fit if you’re using a round bowl and may sit a little high. The advantage for me using an Anchor-Hocking Batter Bowl is that the top row of drainage slots come to rest below the rim of the glass, ensuring I avoid spillages when pouring in the liquid. The rigidity of the plastic has another big advantage over the flexibility of mesh since it lets gravity does the work of draining the liquid. This isolates the kefir grains in the bottom of the colander with very little of the continual stirring with a spoon recommended on most videos. I couldn’t get the green one I wanted in England, but I needed the contrast of something colourful to help ease the strain on my fading eyesight. I’m pleased I took the chance of buying from the U.S. store. Tough, solid, one-piece moulding and should last ages. All good as they say these days.
