good quality cassette
This replaces the cassette on many mid-priced 8-speed set-ups. This is a pretty easy job to do yourself as long as you buy a couple of specific bike tools (specifically a rear cassette wrench, plus a chain tool because you'll need to change your chain at the same time you change your cassette. Just make sure you buy a chain designed for the cassette (7-speed, 8-speed, 9-speed, 10-speed -- they are different sizes. The more speeds, the skinnier the chain needs to be)

Great bargain
Great for the price. The cassette I received was basically a 6 cog cassette with 2 additional loose gears for a total of 8 cogs. I'm guessing this gear set is better for people who ride on relatively flat terrain or on sidewalks or roads, which is what I do. Not as ideal for people who need power I suspect, although it does definitely have larger cogs if you need the power. You'll need the standard shimano type cassette tool remover a long with a cassette chain tool to put this on and off the bike by yourself. Certainly cheaper than trying just to replace a few cogs on a worn cassette, as individual cogs tend to be expensive to buy. Most of my riding is on the smaller cogs anyway, which is why I got this. I'll eventually replace my crank with a larger one with 48 or so teeth on it to even get more speed. But that is still a ways off.

Replaced a cassette on a Diamondback Overdrivw
Used this to replace an 8-speed cassette on a Diamondback Overdrive. Nice and inexpensive. Works just fine, no issues.

My new standard cassette
Got this after using Shimano's equivalent ~$20 8 speed mountain cassette. It's the same in durability and shifting quality, but I like the details of this much more. The gear sizes ramp up much more dramatically, meaning coarser adjustments at low speeds and finer at high speeds, than the shimano. This is great because with the shimano there was too little difference between adjacent gears at the low end, and it was too big of a jump to accelerate smoothly through at the high end.The cassette can also be fully taken apart with a 1mm allen key, so you don't need to work to clean between the gears. This is much more convenient for cleaning.

The product I received is not as the described
I purchased this 8 speed bike cassette on 4/23/2022. I don't have time to install it until today. But I found it came with 6 speed cassette only (as shown in the attached picture). It had already been outside of return window. I don't know what can I do?

Good deal.
Great value on a cassette with ideal ranges for touring / commuting on a 700c bike with 32mm tires & a 48 tooth chainring. 2-7 are all-the-time gears, with 1st coming into play pedaling up steeper grades such as embankments or taking off uphill with loads, and 8th is good for 25-30mph blasting. After six months and ~2000mi lugging my 170lb self around, along with 50lb of groceries ~10mi uphill weekly on a mixture of road, rough road, dirt and gravel, with curb-hops and all , it is wearing very well, showing no signs of aging.

i wont say this is the greatest cassette ever made
holy cats.i just added a new wheelset to my bike that had and old 7 speed freewheel on it. I needed a cassette. I bought this and oh man is this much faster. i wont say this is the greatest cassette ever made, but for this price point it might be!
