I really like this cable and this is a completely positive review - see below. One thing of note - this is actually a well-built TRRS cable... Tip, Ring, Ring, Shell. It will work fine for stereo TRS applications... Tip, Ring, Shell... but has one more connection than advertised. If I hadn't cut into the cable, I'd probably never have noticed the extra connection. I frequently cut commercial cable assemblies and use the ends for special purpose applications. Cut and used this way, I have good looking cables with nice factory molded connector ends. I also have a chance to see the internal construction of the multi-conductor wire when making these custom cables. Are the cables shielded as the manufacturer claims? Are the individual wires of adequate size? Is the wire adequate for reliable operation? This cable is made with good wire and has a nice solid feel. I trust it will last for years. Having looked inside and liking what I found, this dual female cable has become my go-to cable for the keys that I use in an amateur radio application. Shown here are photos of the internal cable construction. Nicely dual shielded and of decent strength. Note that this is actually a dual ended TRRS cable. The internal wiring and connectors are TRRS! Tip is the red wire, outer ring (closer to tip) is white, inner ring yellow, and the shell is the braid. A photo shows a cable with TRRS plugs connected. All four TRRS lines are properly connected through the cable with no unexpected shorts - tip, both rings and the shell are all individually connected.

5 stars because it does what it needs to do. You plug it into what you need to plug it into and you plug into it what you need to plug into it. Easy Peezy. It's easy to use and it's worth the money because it does the job and what more could you ask. The lesson to be learned here though, is that when you order anything with a cord/plug, make sure anything that the cord gets plugged into that it has the proper attachment since everybody on the planet loves to have a different type of plug (ie usb, usbc, us??, ustoo many). This doesn't plug into that so you have to buy that plug to plug this into that over there.. and just when you thought you were done, you ordered one more thing that didn't have the right plug and so here you are A-gain! Don't be like me - do your research.

Using this to connect two 3.5mm male audio endings together. What sold me was the quality-specs. 24k gold plated endings and oxygen-free cable which are a must for my cables. Having a metal casing for the ports on each end was a nice touch and they look sleek on my desk. The ones I went with are the 6" and the price is reasonable for what you get. Not much else to say. No loss in performance when I use, flexible cables and the fittings are perfect. Not to loose where I have to worry about anything becoming loose and not to tight I have to worry about damage. Note - Remember what type of ending you need. 3 pin is for left, right, and ground. 4 pin is for left, right, ground, and microphone. As with all my reviews, I will update this review should they have any issues with ongoing use.

Works exactly as intended. I was able to route my PC speakers to the output of my USB DJ mixer with zero latency.

Works perfectly with no discernible loss of sound quality after using product to extend cables.
