Very First Sight Words Sentences Level 1

I bought this book for my 5 year old who has ADHD and expressive and receptive language disorder. The first sight word is 'I' and the pictures that describe an activity like play, dance etc so my son started reading very easy sentences- I play, I dance; and there were some 20 sentences like that. He thought he could read and he went to next sight word- like and read sentences - I like pizza, I like milk etc. My son who has small attention span, totally hooked on to it. But the best part of book comes with the third sight word- See. Now my kid really had to look at the word because some sentences were using - 'like', and other were using - 'see' -ex- I like pizza, I see ball. And that's how new words keep coming but with some already learnt sight words. Superb idea!!! I totally loved it and recommend it to the parents of the young readers.

It is a very good book. Bought it for my sister who is a teacher. She says it will help students to know their sight words which will boost their reading able. Simple words which are easy to grasp and understand.

I rarely leave reviews for anything but I just want to say to whoever is contemplating to buy this book that it's a very very good book. It helped my son gain confidence in reading (he's 5 and still can't read very well because the school isn't doing such a good job teaching. He speaks perfect english though). Thanks to this book he's able to read so much better now. I like how structured each chapter is and how they guide the child from simple words to complex ones (apart from this I also give him 'word of the day' and ask him to search for it in any book he likes) but this book took his reading skill to the next level and it makes him very happy now that hes able to read just like adults. Totally recommend it.

4歳半でスタートしましたが、読むには難しい単語の横にはイラストがあり、少しずつレベルアップするので簡単にスラスラ読みができます！ある程度の単語力（簡単な動詞や物の名前）や、フォニックスのアルファベット発音をある程度知っていればイラストと最初の文字で単語を予測することも出来ます。サイトワードは、漢字のように暗記してぱっと答えられるのが大事。このテキストは同じような例文がひたすら並んでいるので、ひらがな読むよりも早くスラスラ読めるようになりました。サイトワードの他の絵本もやっていましたが、音声付きだと一文読むのが早いので、一つ一つの単語を読むというより、暗記して読むふりをしていて、文字を読んでいない状態だったので、着実に文字を読む練習という意味でもすごく役に立っています。今レベル1の半分ですが、レベル２も追加購入しました！安いし、本当オススメ！！

Well worth money. Great little book for beginner readers.

This book is helping both me the parent and the 3 year old. It gives me ideas on how to teach her words and sentences and she is intrigued because there are pictures on it,a worth it book!
