Review: Improvement of lines without needles..... - Ive been looking at and read many reviews about this PTR FIRMX TEMPORARY facial tightener. I finally purchased through desertcart, best price I had seen. This is the first line of product that many reivewers noted leaves a white shadow or residue after drying. But I wanted to try this product anyway, so I ordered it and it came to me well packed, one large 3.4 fl.oz. tube. Which IMO is a nice supply for a good month at less than $25.00 and undamaged. I used this PTR next day, I read the many reviews and applied it per pkg instructions, saw it presented on QVC and remembered how they applied it on models. I just dont have time to wait 7-10 minutes for it to dry. I applied it on clean moisturized face. Put a pea? or pencil head size on my finger and dabbed it onto the 11's ( forehead),above eyebrows and on brow bone, also on the sides of my eyes "crows feet" and marionette indentations, got my dryer out and dried it. It actually DID help ...and then I applied a little bit of foundation trying not to make or move my expression as I applied. The product did leave a bit of a white shadow on my olive skin, and also I noted the product began to "Pill up" (reivewers mentioned) into tiny particles as I dabbed on the bit of foundation. So I decided to use more of the PTR product mixing it onto my fingers as I also added my beige foundation ...dabbing/pressing it onto my skin with the foundation. I felt the slightest tighening, but nothing that "pulled" ...I realized that it was staying in place, no more "pilling"....my lines were and remain a " shadow" of what they priviously were before, and the white reside was gone. This is my honest review, NO, I am not a paid contributer. My age is 69..I am active, I teach kickboxing 2X a wk,body builder, I walk 3-4 miles every other day, maintain a healthy diet so my skin is firm but is showing the natural signs of aging. I am satisfied with this PTR product and do recommend it. Before giving a negative review, please do try it, keeping in mind it is not going to REMOVE wrinkles or lines permanantly, it is Temporary. Anything permanant is drastic and has its drawbacks, or worse side effects. Take care of Your beautiful skin....whatever it is! I am NOT getting paid for this review, its my honest review. I am turning 70 in June this year, I do eat well, exercise and instruct kickbox classes. So my skin is firm but really is showng signs of my age. I am very pleased and impressed with this product I use it how I feel best "fits my skin" needs for the result I want or hope for. I am going to purchase the Newer PTR product when I am done with this current product. I really was not expecting anything more than what some of the negative reviews gave. Its not PERFECT, but for this mature woman,it does what it is advertized about. I see a slight improvement and am not using as much foundation, although I don't use much, just a bit to cover the age spot on my cheek and to cover/hide the dark circles I inherited. My review is true for me Only...But for the price I paid, and the improvement I have seen in 7 days...it is a Keeper and cheaper than going under needles and having one eye smaller and more closed than the other one. I like PTR product for now. Give it a try...nothing is perfect but its worth a try. I recommend it right now. Good price and again I will try the Newer improved tightener in the future. It takes up to 7 minutes to see the desired effect. Those stating here that it leaves a white residue have applied too much of the product. A tiny bit of this goes a long way. I had NO white residue. PROS: It does what it promises. While it doesn't get rid of dark circles under the eye, it DOES tighten the skin. When I put it around my "crow's feet", after about 6 minutes - those little lines disappeared. The skin under my eye became taught and smooth. HUGE CON (WHICH OVER TIME WILL AGE THE SKIN AROUND YOUR EYES): The delicate skin under my eye became INCREDIBLY, HUGELY, MONUMENTALLY - VISIBLY - DRY. This skin tightener works well, so long as you NEVER move your facial muscles. About a half hour after applying a tiny amount, my skin had indeed tightened. I held a mirror up to my face and smiled, and all of a sudden ALL OF THE SKIN UNDER MY EYES WAS NOTHING BUT TINY WRINKLES. That area of my face suddenly looked incredibly old and aged. I was about to go meet friends, so I tried to get rid of the dryness by applying a thin coating of under-eye moisturizing cream. Waited for that to sink in a bit, then did a tiny bit of powder to hide the blotches caused by the removal of the skin tightener. I cannot NOT recommend this enough. If you use it, just do not ever smile or move your facial muscles, and you'll do fine. It arrived yesterday. It is being sent back tomorrow. Bad, bad, bad. Please save your money.

**Q: if i apply foundation as well as lotion over this product will it go away?**
A: Do people not read the product instructions? If you use it as recommended, it works! It's a temporary fix, but I've stopped using Botox because of it. I'm 75 and when I want my face to look 20 years younger for a few hours, I use it!

**Q: Can you use this product under eyes?**
A: He has one for under eyes. I don’t becsuse around my eyes one area I have no problems. I mix it with a promer

**Q: Which sunscreen can be used with this that won’t turn white or lose the effect?  I tried mineral and they don’t work.   Thanks.**
A: This is the best thing I have ever used. I do not use anything under it. Just wash my face with safeguard soap, rinse and dry it. Than I apply this item and let ti dry thoroughly. I do use a light dusting of powder foundation. I like the Philosophy super foundation air brushed canvas and a little blush.  I do use eye makeups and lipstick. This lasts for hours. I use my serums like Hyaluronic acid and Synthe 6 plus retinol serum and a light cover of cream.  My skin looks the best it has ever looked.  I will be 82 next month and most people think I am in my 50's. This is much better than plexaderm. I do not use sunscreen .

**Q: Does this product actually lift your face/cheeks up like you have had an actual facelift?**
A: It tightens the skin as the product dries, which camouflages bags/puffiness and reduces appearance of wrinkles - all temporarily. I hesitate to say it “lifts” because the tightening is in all directions and not just upward.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says! Works as well as much more expensive creams.

This works. It *temporarily* blurs fine lines and minimizes appearance of under eye bags and so on. Is it perfect? No. It often leaves powdery residue and you must apply only tiny amounts very carefully. But when you get it right, the results are AMAZING. Does it last all day? No. But it lasts long enough to go out to dinner or have your picture made. Sometimes I forget I put it on, and I'll look in the mirror and wonder why my skin looks so good. I recommend purchasing the face tightener cream rather than the eye cream because the face tightener can be used on both the face and around eyes but the price per ounce is much lower. Before, I bought a different product that costs 10X this from a very high end spa. This works equally well. I wish I would have known about this product before dropping $350 on the same functioning cream at the spa.
