This stainless steel tumbler is phenomenal!! After receiving it, I washed out the cup and the metal straw that it came with. I then filled the cup with ice and water. This was at approximately 9:30 a.m. on one day. Throughout that 1st day, I re-filled the cup 3 times with water only because the ice cubes had not melted. By 11:30 a.m. the NEXT day, the ice had melted but the remaining water was still ice cold!!! The remaining water stayed cold until approximately 2:00 p.m. the second day, although not 'ice cold'! I intentionally did not add any more water to the cup because I wanted to see just how long the water would stay cold without adding more ice. I am sooo happy with this cup! This cup was an excellent buy...price wise and quality. It works as stated and better. Oh...FYI, I did not use this cup for a hot beverage as I purchased it for water...so my review does not speak to how well it would work with say...coffee or tea.

It's a great cup, not a fan of the metal straw though and sad that the paint started chipping off after the first wash. Other than that it does keep my coffee hot for hours until I finish it. And keeps my other drinks cold while I'm at work. Would recommend. Great price as well

Mug keeps drinks cold a really long time. I'd still have ice in mine after 4-5 hours. My one complaint is that the seal for the lid is not fixed in place, and it would slip when I went to put the lid back on. I ended up fixing that with some super-strong epoxy designed for rubber/plastic between it and the lid. once the seal stopped slipping, it works great.

Great cup and love how it keeps cold or hot for hours. Update: after having this cup for a while and washing as we do the coating on the outside started coming off, in my drink, on my lip in my mouth. It was a good cup

The cup was amazing, all accept the pretty blue color. It kept my drinks cold. The only drawback was the color. It faded and began to rub/chip off. I would recommend the plain stainless steel. No color

Feels really good to drink out of. Keeps drinks super cold. Color does seem to be fading already after only a month's use. Kinda weird, but we're not using this to make a color statement, so who cares.

I loved the blue color of the one I bought. I didn't realize that it would only last for a short while. As you can see from the picture, the color is fading and the color film is peeling. The whole thing was the closer to the dark blue that you see at the bottom of the cup. If I had known it was going to look nasty soon, I would have just gotten a stainless steel one. The cup itself is fine. I still use it all the time. The gray rubber gasket for the straw has torn so it's no longer leak proof either. It's still better than keeping an open mouthed cup on my desktop or my night stand, but it's not as good as it used to be.

My boyfriend put his in the dishwasher and it took the color right off, more of like a “sticker color” rather then painted on.
