A Great Starter Kit for Leather Carving And Stamping
I was very pleased with the quality of the tools and leather this kit provided. Great starter kit for those like me who want to start doing more leather based crafting, but not sure where exactly to start. With this kit, you will learn how to carve and stamp out designs on a variety of little projects that will last you for years after. I will admit it provided a good challenge especially when it came to learning how to hold and use the swivel knife properly. Took me until the last project to get the hang of cutting out curves and smoother lines. The instructions this came with were very easy to follow. It walks you through some practice with the stamping tools and how and when you should use each one. It than nicely walks you through each project with templates for patterns that are printed to be the same size of the pre cut pieces you are given. This makes tracing and transferring the patterns very easy. I also appreciate that the instructions give you multiple designs to play with whether you need something easier or more challenging to carry out. Does indeed force you to use and master all the tools at your disposal. I highly recommend this kit and look forward to others like it!!
