Nutrition BBQ Protein Chips, 19g Protein, 4g Net Carb, Low Carb, Gluten Free, 1.1 oz (Pack of 12)

These are pretty good. I love that it is 19g of protein, (supposedly) low carbs and gluten free. It's a great way to have some decadent food without ingesting major junk food. Each serving is individually sealed in a foil bag that keeps them very fresh. I've been eating them for over a year and frequently buy the 24 count boxes. They are very convenient for a quick protein boost because they are pre-measured into servings and can just be grabbed, opened and eaten on the go. The chips are very crunchy and have an intense barbecue taste. They are also very salty (in a good way) and will satisfy any chip craving. Sometimes some of the chips are almost too hard. I've also had batches where the chips were very flaky and kind of too light. The texture varies quite a bit. Sometimes I've had barbecue chips or beans that have a light, non-tangy, non-tasty taste. These are just the opposite. The barbeque is bold and in your face. Overall, these are quite tasty, not my favorite protein chip, but up there in the top 5.

These chips are GREAT!!! Super low in carbs (only 5 in the whole bag before they do the "net carb" garbage which, in all fairness, is garbage -- a carb is a carb and your body does NOT recognize "net carbs"), really high in protein, great crunch like a "real" chip, light, and taste wonderful!!! If you like chips (potato or corn) but have to limit or eliminate them while you're dieting THIS is the product/company for you! I have a huge issue with carbs - my body turns them straight into sugar, so I keep them out of my diet as much as possible. The fact that Quest chips only have 5 carbs in an entire bag makes me want to shout with joy from the rooftops! I had a cup of low fat cottage cheese and a bag of these chips for lunch. The cottage cheese had 28 grams of protein with 6 carbs and these chips added 19 grams of protein with 5 carbs. Eleven carbs at one meal is really high for me, but I eliminated the carbs from my dinner (and only needed a light dinner because the protein kept me full all day). Forty-seven grams of protein in one meal with under 400 calories is a trainer's dream!! I've also tried Quest's barbeque flavor chips, sour cream and cheddar chips, and taco flavored tortilla chips which are as low in carbs and high in protein. The barbeque flavor really is like eating a regular barbeque flavored potato chip, and the taco flavored tortilla chips really taste great - like eating a taco! Not a big fan of the sour cream and cheddar chips which surprised me....but, you can't have everything! Don't know how Quest scientists did it, but they did a bang up job!!

Calorie wise, these aren't much better than a regular bag of chips. But nutrition wise, they seem to be the better alternative. They provide a good amount of protein and less carbs and fat than your regular potato chips. The flavor is great! The texture is suitable. Like a lot of higher protein items, it does have a sort of gritty texture when you're done chewing, but that doesn't bother me. These are good to have on hand if you're trying to cut back on junk food eating habits. If you're truly craving something salty, they provide a more guilt free alternative!

I was struggling to get to my protein goal most days, I added these when I was craving something crunchy. They are great! The potato chip versions aren’t soo good, they have a weird texture. I definitely prefer the tortilla chips, great texture and tasty flavors.

I love these chips! Great flavor! Great quality, extra crunchy, convenient size packs just right for anytime of day when you get a snack attack lol ! They definitely fill me up! I love that the chips aren’t too thick or thin but perfect! Making them a convenient addition to my routine! Even my grandson likes them! I don’t tell him they’re healthy lol

I was pretty hopeful that I would like these chips, since I loved Quest's tortilla chips, cheese crackers, and their protein bars. These were horrible!!! The flavor was very bland and the texture was not appealing at all. I wasn't expecting them to taste like a real potato chip, but I could only stomach one bag, and gave the rest away. I will stick to the tortilla chips and crackers. Edited: Second review I was basing my rating without trying all 3 flavors in the variety pack. The cheddar and sour cream is the one that had no taste whatsoever, so I would give that flavor one star. On the other hand, the BBQ flavor was excellent so 5 stars for that one, and the sour cream and onion was good, so I give that flavor a 3. Overall, I would probably order the BBQ flavor again.
