Looks exactly like the old Radio Shack branded butane iron I bought probably 10 years ago and works just as good. I like having a cordless iron for working away from power outlets, like on an automobile and it does a good job. It's also handy when I don't want to break out the iron station for a single-item soldering job. I don't need a cordless iron full time, so this is a great alternative to the $100 battery powered irons.

Small enough for fairly delicate work but big enough to solder a PL259. Change of tips and go anywhere.

This Product is overpriced and underquality. I have been using these things for years. This specific one lasted even less time than most. I always used 11x refined fuel. But it still stopped pushing fuel by the 3rd or 4th refill. Just not worth the money. I'll stick with the Better brands. This one is trash. It may look like iroda but doesn't hold up like one

Purchased because it was yellow, however I did not recieve the product in yellow. Also, did not come with the torch attachment that others identical to this one have always come with in the past

I love the item. I have had many of these and they work amazing and very reliable. This one in particular I was slightly disappointed. In the picture they showed yellow. Like I said I have had many of these over the years but never in yellow. I ordered it and it came in blue.. not a huge deal cause they work great but had I known it wasn’t yellow, I would not have bought it.

I have a red mini soldering iron (identical to this except for the color.) I use it as a torch lighter for cigars. Got this one thinking it would also serve in that capacity. Apparantly, there has been a slight modification to the torch...The opening where the butane would be ignited is so narrow that the butane escapes at high pressure and cannot stay lit. Repeat....if you plan on using this as a torch and not as a soldering iron, FORGET IT. Cannot do it .
